We've stayed at this location twice and already have our next visit booked as well. As a single mom, we like to bring some food with us to help cut down on costs and there's a spacious kitchenette to store our food in. Very clean refrigerator and cooking area. Comfortable beds and sitting areas. The staff are also very friendly and helpful. That's a lot to pack in for such a bargain of a price!!!

Looks are not everything!

This hotel is an inadequate try at renovation. The lobby is very nice. Although some of the areas are not as clean. We booked our stay a year prior to visit all of the land marks. This portion of our stay was wonderful. After a few days I asked the front desk clerk about the $ 100 charge to those who do not declare a hidden dog or pet. I then asked if they would issue me a refund due to the surprising amount of ROACHES that invaded my suite! As you may have guessed, the answer was "NO WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR SEASONAL PEST CONTROL." Book at your own risk but be ready to dry clean your wardrobe after the visit!

Whole room was dirty, had to switch to different room. The "gym" only has 3 things in it, and only one of the three work. Then I went to ask person at front desk about it and they told me "they never worked, nobody uses the gym. Microwave inside use to be white its now brown. Also the whole hallway smells like weed.

Not quite what we were hoping for

We stayed whilst visiting Memphis and overall the stay was adequate, if a little disappointing. The biggest plus was the lovely afternoon front desk girl ho checked us in with a welcoming smile. Great service. However, we soon discovered that our room’s toilet wouldn’t flush properly and soon stopped working altogether. I was invited to see if I could clear the blockage myself with a plunger provided as it was evening and their were no maintenance staff available, but it didn’t work. So, we had to repack and move to another room, only to discover that the door bolt wouldn’t work. So we had to move a third time the same evening to another room, which was a double rather than the king we had booked. It was ok, although it had a slightly unpleasant stuffy aroma until you got the air con working and it was ok. The daily lady and gentleman cleaning staff were very friendly, but we noticed him carrying round a large supply of Odorban spray bottles one day. Breakfast was ok and as expected. So, overall not the quality we had expected and paid for.

Looks neat and clean

Well, don’t judge this book by its cover. Lobby looks great. Room looks fine too. Safety bar on door broken. Cheap toiletries in foil packs...ugh. Good bed but lumpy pillows. No coffee maker in room which is deal breaker for us. Breakfast selections just about the cheapest one can encounter, including dry creamer for coffee. The area did seem safer than other areas of Memphis and it was quiet for sleeping. Okay for one night at the right price.
