Realized this hotel had earned its reputation when I first called about rates and reservations. Too bad we weren’t there to visit the Michigan State campus because it was a 5 minute walk away. Very clean facility, even on Christmas Day, with limited staff

Everything was wonderful in this hotel.The amenities, the location of the hotel, and the hospitality. It was all truly amazing really.One thing they could try improving on though is breakfast menu options.

Another Visit, Another Fantastic Stay

We first visited the hotel in 2017 for a week. This trip we stayed 26 days and it was a super time. First, all the staff deserves gold medals for their friendliness, helpfulness and all-around good cheer. They really make sure every guest is given their full attention. The room was clean and all the appliances and bathrooms worked well. The hotel public areas are well maintained. The laundry room worked out great for us. Nicely equipped fitness room. I whole-heartedly recommend this hotel for anyone staying in the East Lansing area.

This was a nicely laid out room with a full kitchen (but no oven). It had a full sized refrigerator, cooktop, microwave, pans, dishes and utensils. Nice little table and chairs too. There was even a cozy chair. Only thing I didn’t like was the bed was too close to the wall. I’ll bet it’s a hardship on the housekeeping staff for remaking the beds too. No breakfast served but you can fix your own meals. I would absolutely recommend this.

Spacious rooms with good amenities

This is the best place to stay while in East Lansing. My studio was spacious - 457 sq feet, with a large TV, full refrigerator, microwave, comfortable bed and sofa, nice bathroom/shower, coffee maker and my room was quiet. This place is about 2 miles from Michigan State which is probably why it is quiet. A few critiques: breakfast buffet was really sparse. Not much of a selection. I did appreciate that they offered hazelnut and French vanilla creamers. The workout room as adequate but one of the elliptical machines was not working. I had to tell them that their water cooler was empty. The cabinet door to the area under the sink had a busted door that needed fixing. The pool was not open. Overall, a very good experience. I will definitely stay here again.
