Very clean and nice. You never know what to expect. The hotel staff was so polite and helpful. The ladies that served breakfast were great. The bed was so comfortable. We were pleasantly surprised. We will definitely stay here again.

My husband and I were on our way back home to Texas from Tennessee. I had previously made a reservation here, as it seemed about halfway. We arrived at check-in time and there was a large, loud group gathering in the lobby at the same time. It was hard to hear the lady with her mask on behind the plastic barrier, but I understand that that is their policy. Anyway, she was nice and helpful, giving us two bottles of water and explaining where Popeye's was located. (we had been craving Popeye's, but ended up at Zac's right next door) Our king bed room was on the second floor. We found it to be large, clean and comfortable. I especially enjoyed the lounge chair! The room had everything needed.....comfortable bed with 3 pillows, nice TV with plenty of channels, microwave, refrigerator, clean bathroom with a hot shower. It was quiet out in the hallway and we crashed early, tired from our road trip. We woke up early, and still full from our dinner next door, we decided to skip breakfast and head on home. So, I can't comment on the hot breakfast or the to-go one that started at 6:00am. The pool looked inviting. Anyway, we would definitely consider staying here again. And there's a gas station right next door. Perfect location.

We stayed at this property while returning from Tennessee. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The room was clean and well kept. My wife thought the shower was excellent and the lighting in the bathroom was great.The location was fine. Hot breakfast is once again available.The food was good. I would stay again.

We arrived at 4:30 pm and was told their help had quit and would have our room ready in about 30 minutes. We finally got into our room at 6:30. We ask for a discount in price & was informed we had to ask the manager on Monday, which we have done.
Substandard at best

While I understand this is one of the lowest priced in the Hilton chain for the area, I do not think that should mean that the building should be neglected. As a Diamond member I have stayed at so many Hilton line hotels including several Hamptons. That lack of care this one receives is unfortunate. I also don’t think this is due to covid. You have had a reduction in stays so lots of time to address the neglect. Further you can’t blame it on staffing as we watched 8 team members stand around this morning for over 30 minutes chit chatting while we ate breakfast and three were maintenance.
Let’s start with the smoke detector in our room, it actually expired in 2004! It was incredibly discolored and not properly hooked up either as a clip has been previously broken at some point. Typically they last 10 years, so likely 25 years or more old. Major concern for the life and safety of your guest. Now let’s talk about the hard lined fire sprinkler system, they are caked with dust and debris. Likely if the system went off, many would not function properly. Does this area not have to comply with fire safety inspections?
In the dining area there is a ceiling tile near a vent that obviously has been subject to a water leak resulting in suspicious microbial growth (mold) and appears this is ongoing problem.
The pool, while open all weekend did not appear to be properly maintained over the weekend as the bottom, stairs and water line tile were filthy. I would guess the filter is not functioning properly. Also questionable chemical usage given there were two chlorine pucks in the skimmer basket which wouldn’t be needed if properly maintained.
The elevator had cove base installed that was affixed utilizing a white electrical type tape. Not really a safety hazard but, not up to par.
Going down one of the first floor hallways there is a Coke vending machine that appears to have been lifted utilizing some type of a four wheel dolly. The metal from the dolly protrudes probably 3 to 4 inches beyond the vending machine into the hallway in two spots. If your not careful you could easily walk right into the metal corners and really cause yourself to be injured.
Our room had ceiling damage in the bathroom above the shower and evidence of more SMG. The caulk on the tub is discolored and black in several areas. The bed skirt had oil type stains in a couple spots. The blanket/duvet on one bed was ripped. They also only provided two pillows per bed. I am accustomed to there always being at least 3 and or extras in the closet. There were no extras and when we requested more they expressed they had none. I noted later in the stay several spots on the walls where it looked like people wiped their dirty fingers.
Now to customer service - anyone we ran into was nice, but no one seemed to eager to do their job. I have never seen a chair utilized behind a check in desk unless medically necessary but here they have at least one and the evening shifts don’t stand at all! When we asked for more pillows the person, who was sitting, didn’t even check but told us they were completely out. The next day we were leaving and the housekeeping storage room door was open and we observed at least three stacks of pillows, I would estimate 30-40 pillows. When we asked for a pool towel they lady, different person who was sitting, said she didn’t think they had any and then finally got up to check and found two. The breakfast ladies do not keep the Buffett stocked and when asked if they had something seemed inconvenienced they needed to check. We went down one day at 930 and almost everything was gone.
In fact, they had already removed some items. It’s supposed to be open till 10…. Went down the third day at 9 and it was a similar experience. We were not offered snacks or water upon check in like usual as a diamond member although they had the display.
I did submit a message requesting to be contacted on day two and never heard back.
