Recomendo o hotel The Pfister em Milwaukee.

Waste of money

I've worked in the hotel hospitality business at a upscaleplace for many years so for me to give such a bad review is disappointing on all levels.
We were so excited for this trip, splurging on the heritage suite for the night and it was down hill from the time we got there. My fiance and I arrived for a one night stay on October 2nd and from the beginning it was a let down. We pulled up to a rude valet. I understand there was a wedding that night and they were busy but the welcome we received was less than enthusiastic. You could tell they wanted to be anywhere but there at the moment and it felt like we couldn't get our bags out of our car fast enough.
We walked up to the front desk and as we walked in we realized a big wedding g was there. Really wish we could have gotten some kind of advanced notice on that. Check in was supposed to begin at 3, we arrived at 430 and told the room still wasn't ready. Really? Im paying $650 for one night and you can't have the room ready when we arrive? The young man was very nice and asked us to wait and he'd let us know when it was ready. Sat in the very busy lounge for 30 minutes before I finally went up to the desk to ask about the room again. This time I spoke with a young woman and she called on the radio to ask about the room which the housekeeper told her,"I don't know." The front desk girl then had to run up to our room herself to check on it, come to find out it had been ready the whole time.
Finally we get to the room, its fine but not worth the money spent on it for one night. I was surprised after seeing the pictures online that it was just very plain.
I'm not sure what was going on in the city that night but we couldn't get a reservation for dinner anywhere before 9pm so we ended up ordering room service. It took 45 minutes for the food to arrive and then, they forgot our drinks so the gentleman had to go back downstairs to get them for us. I had asked for no tomatoes on my salad and shocker, it had tomatoes.
We ended up checking out early before breakfast since neither one of us got any sleep due to the loud people next to our room. Again, I understand there was a wedding there but some notice of this would have been nice, we definitely would have reserved a different weekend for example. Also at that point there was no reason to wait for breakfast as I'm sure it would have been just as crowded and disappointing.
Overall, we will not be back. Really glad we wasted $800 for our special night to only be severely disappointed.
Don't count on a restful night's sleep

If you want a good night's sleep, make sure your room isn't near the top of the tower when the Blu Lounge is open
I scheduled my stay months in advance as I would be in town for a Sunday morning marathon. I expected a hotel which had such a long history to be a joy to stay at, but I was mistaken.
I consider a hotel's primary function is to provide an environment which allows for a good night's rest. Not here. Going to bed early, around 8:30 pm, I heard a persistent string bass thumping away through the walls. It turns out that in the tower, the 23rd floor contains a nightclub with live music. And I, fortunate enough to pay for an upgrade to a king room on the 21st floor, got to enjoy the thump thump thump of relentless bass which kept me from falling asleep.
I sent a text message to the "Pfister Butler", which is advertised both within the room and via text message after check-in. I mentioned the noise, and would someone please get me some ear plugs? No response at all. After 15 minutes, I phoned the front desk to complain and request ear plugs. The front desk was apologetic and confirmed my name and room number and promised to send up ear plugs right away. They never came! Eventually I fell asleep due to exhaustion, excited to run a marathon on a poor night's sleep. I also got woken up again around midnight to the sound of chairs moving around (club closing?).
The next day, the Pfister Butler texted to ask how my stay was going, on a scale of 1-5. I replied with a "1" and was then asked what could have been better, as if nobody had read my text from the night before. It's all in the same text thread! I reiterated my noise complaint and my disappointment at the lack of a response. The Butler's response was to apologize for the loud noise, that the club is closed tonight so "hopefully you'll get some peaceful rest." That's it.
If you stay here, check the Blu Lounge hours. You won't get a good nights sleep if it is open and you are within several floors of it.
P.S. Signs are posted that all staff are wearing masks, but when I checked in, the agent behind the front desk pulled hers down for the duration of check-in.
I do want to mention that the room was very clean. Plus, the cleaning crew was very friendly, always asking if I needed anything for my room when I'd see them in the hallway.

Beautifully restored historic hotel in the heart of downtown Milwaukee. Stayed here for a conference and everything was outstanding, including the banquet food. They have an app you can download to make requests for your room. I used it once, and heard a knock at my door five minutes later with the requested service. Highly recommend for business or leisure travel.
