Superb stay, great location

Our stay was comfortable the newly refurbished room was comfortable, great breakfast cooked fresh by owner Stuart, good beers in the bar, beer garden at front , great atmosphere too. Small 5 min walk into the town. A great relaxing stay. We will be back. Thank you for making our stay such a good one Stuart and staff.

Great Host, ideally located on edge of town for access to walks, good value for money

Great host felt at home, very accommodating to our requirements, we stayed bed and breakfast, breakfast was good ample portions didn't need to eat again until evening, no food served after that but host gave advice on where to go to eat in the evening which was helpful and we took on board. Pub is shut during the day (at this time of year) opening at around 5pm, so we came and went as we pleased, we had a room above the bar but didn't bother us it was not noisy, we had a couple of drinks on the odd evening. Nicely located round the corner from the Offra Way walk and a few minutes to the bridge which connects to the Wye Valley Walk North to Symonds Yat a couple of hours and south we went as far as LLandogo (Cleddon Falls) 3-4 hours. Really happy we stayed here rather than in town which was busy.

Good value hotel

This hotel is on the edge of town and right on the Offa’s Dyke path. The hotel is set against a hill and on three floors. The dining room however is on the first floor which is great for anybody with mobility problems. We had a twin bedded room on the second floor which was small but very clean and comfortable. As has been noted the bathrooms are very good as too were the breakfasts which were prepared to order.

A surprising gem of a BnB

Lovely room, super friendly service, and considering there's a main road close by and a bar downstairs it was surprisingly quiet. Room 3 has a fantastic rainfall shower too! Full Welsh breakfast was tasty, and the continental breakfast had plenty of choice. Recommended.

One night stay, Felt very welcome. Wonderful atmosphere, great room especially the shower. Best ever Welsh breakfast we ever had cooked by our host Stuart. Would definitely go back. Nothing was to much trouble for these guys.
