We would stay here again

This is a very nice hotel and appears to be fairly new. The breakfast was actually a little better than most. The rooms were large and comfy. Only draw back is the lack of USB ports in the room. That was a bit of a bummer. But otherwise, we had a very nice stay here. The A/C unit seemed quieter than many places we have stayed at.

Hop Skip and Jump For all those people that look for rooming at Hillsdale College, this is a place for you! This hotel is located 30 minutes south of Hillsdale. It is actually in Ohio but literally five minutes from the state line. On average $50 a night less than staying in other local Michigan towns. The accommodations were perfect. The breakfast bar was good and clean. Plenty of room for everybody to spread out. The only downfall to this location is the fact that there are no surrounding restaurants or food places. There is another hotel across the road that actually has an adjacent restaurant; but did not go by to see how it was. The ride from the hotel to Hillsdale is pretty barren, but a great alternative to staying actually in Michigan.

Bad Start got Worse

Rude at front desk at check in , Room had mold painted over bleeding thru. I've traveled for years, SKIP THIS PLACE!! They even UPCHARGED me for our dog even though I explained my wife and pet weren't with us. Tried for four days to have manager call me (calling daily) . No reply. Yes IHG gave me points for a night after hotel wouldn't do anything, but some of those other reviews are true . You know when you get off the wrong exit look around and jump right back on the highway THIS IS IT

Perfect layover

It was a nice hotel with a perfect layover for 1 night, nothing to worry about as it was very safe and comfortable. Nice breakfast and a very good friendly front desk staff. We will stay here again while coming back.

Appreciate Great Customer Service and Nice Hotel

We recently stayed overnight at this hotel. In making the reservation online, I inadvertently made it through a third party (thought I was on the Holiday Inn website), and also inadvertently clicked on the "submit" button twice, making 2 room reservations for the night. I called the 800 number of the third party company to report and to request that the 2nd reservation be cancelled, but because it was a Sunday, that customer service rep could not authorize the cancellation. Long story short, despite the fact that it was a non-refundable reservation, the hotel manager, A.J., on Tuesday authorized the cancellation and I received a full refund. Thank you for having pity on a tech-naive senior citizen. And by the way, the hotel was spotless, friendly staff, and good breakfast.
