The cheapest but not the best

Avaliou em 18 de julho de 2021

I wasn't expecting that much from a 2 star hotel, but it still could use some updating. The hotel is convenient to the interstate. I like that the rooms did not have carpet and the rooms were a decent size. The security bar on the door was broken and so was the light fixture between the beds. There was no towel bar to hang towels or wash clothes. The to go breakfast was good.

Good for a Budget

This was one of the less expensive options in the area. We felt like for the money paid that it was decent and clean. The location was close to everything. I would stay again. If you’re looking for an upscale place this is not for you. It’s pretty basic.

Filthy Hotel with No CoViD-19 Precautions

Avaliou em 26 de outubro de 2020

We knew when we walked in late Friday night that it was going to be a long stay, and not in the good way. Upon opening the room, I noticed it smelled like mildew. And that's when I heard the dripping coming from the bathroom--the bath tap was RUNNING not dripping constantly and is no doubt due to lack of want on management's part to have it fixed. Economically, this is suicide as the motel is wasting hundreds of thousands of gallons a week from this room's leaky tap alone. I joked to my boyfriend when we arrived that we were fairly close to the city's water tower and should have good water pressure... We did, in the worst way! Next, the bathroom was absolutely FILTHY. I've attached a photo to show how dirty the curtain was (probably not replaced in years) and the water damage, dirt, and mold along the flooring. Every inch of this place was covered in dirt and grime. The toilet looked fairly clean, but the shower was stained from constant water damage. The beds were broken, broken down and the mattresses worn out and hard. I could hear the springs squeak when I'd lay on my side at night. When I sat down on one bed, it completely threw me onto the floor as it wasn't even on the frame! When I moved the mattress off the box spring, my stomach turned. Hair, old socks, and stains galore. GROSS. The sheets "smelled clean" and so did the towels, but not enough to make up for the horribly dirty room. When I went to return the towels for fresh ones at the office the next morning, I noticed the employees (ALL of them) were mask-less and took NO CoVid-19 PRECAUTIONS besides a plexiglass separator behind the desk. Some of our interaction took place outside this area, however. I didn't see any hand sanitizer or masks available anywhere on site. This was during the weekend of the highest national spike in cases since March 2020. The house cleaner who I saw cleaning another disgusting room below us did not wear a mask as she did so (I heard another guest ask for "cleaning supplies" to clean her own bath tub upon arrival as it, too, had not been tended). Lastly, our room door was barely securable and the deadbolt was coming out of the wall mounting. I tried to screw it in with a screwdriver, but the actual pilot hole was completely gone. SO unsafe! My boyfriend could have knocked the door down and off its hinges if he had tried to. We also heard our neighbors clear as day and the gap below our adjoined room doors was considerable (inches). Do not stay here if you value your safety or cleanliness. It is a dump and hopefully 2021 will knock it off its last leg. Good riddance.

at $100 a night, a terrible choice

No internet service for three days. No icemaker, and staff did not always offer ice. No coffeemaker in the room. No clock & no phone in the room (meaning no wake-up call.) Staff did not wear mask - despite State mandate. Hospital one block away, so occasional ambulances & helicopters.
