The room had a musty smell something like old cigarette smoke. It was dirty - not filthy but still the kind of room that makes you feel the need for a shower when you get back home. The bathroom had broken wall sections and poor ventilation. The windows had to be slammed very hard to position the lock to work. The kitchen cabinets and drawers were all empty. There was no coffee maker. The door to the microwave was barely functioning. The included breakfast was nothing anyone would seriously consider eating. The clerk tried to double bill us. Some of the clientele were sketchy looking. It isn't the worst hotel in the world but if you pay more than $70 or prefer a clean, odor free room with normal amenities you will be disappointed.

Cockroaches

First I want to say that the staff at the hotel are very nice. When we got into our room and found 2 cockroaches, they did offer to change the room. At the time, we decided to stay since there were only 2 (and we had managed to kill them) . We went to bed and turned off the lights. Shortly after, I got up to use the restroom and turned on the lights. That is when I saw cockroaches EVERYWHERE!!!! On the counters, floors, in the bathroom and worst of all….crawling around the bed- at that point scrambling and scurrying everywhere to get out of the light. It was literally the creepiest hotel experience of my life. We immediately left. I called the board of health the next day to report the situation so you may want to check with them before booking a room here. The hotel front desk staff was very apologetic and offered to ask the manager to give me a refund. At the very least, I expected to hear from the manager with an apology, but I have heard nothing. Good luck if you stay here - we were in room 206

Alexander was great! Due to their not being anymore queens available, he upgraded me to a king deluxe. He was super nice and made my check in one to remember. Thank you Alex! The room was clean & little to no noise in the hallways.

When Alexander is on duty I always know that I will be taken care of. Weekends can get a bit loud with people leaving the city since covid and parking can get tight. This hotel isn't fancy but it's a decent value for those of us that travel for work long periods of time.

Thanks to Stephanie and the entire staff. Anything you need is taken care of quickly I’ve been at many higher priced ones where getting a bar of soap was impossible! Good location, great parking and surprisingly quiet.
