Decrepit, dirty, avoid. Worst Choice hotel I have stayed in

Don't go! Booked for a reunion, only to learn prides fell by 50% after I booked, but they did not adjust rate. Accessible room had no grab bars, regular height toilet, step over the tub shower, no hand held device. Given a room down a long dark hall, with plenty of rooms with doors ajar all weekend--dangerous and spooky. ANYONE could have been in them. I was the ONLY guest in that wing! WHY was I put alone? My hairdryer died and I just walked into another room and took theirs. Floor in room had nail clippings by the door. Mold around edge of toilet bowl. Loose tiles. Took all my strength to pull up the shower handle. COLD water only. No fan. NO coffee in the morning; told it would take 5 minutes to get some. Breakfast was a paper bag with an orange, granola bar, commercially made lemon cake slice, and bottled water. All carbs, no protein. I had to go out and buy breakfast. Dust from heat/AC unit and I could not breathe for hours. FAR too pricey for what I got. Red Roof is superior>

After checking in, walking down hall, strong musty smell. Once in the room, smell combined with smoke smell. Looked in bathroom and saw the ceiling covered in mold and the toilet had not been cleaned. Immediately went to front desk and showed young lady the pics and she was mortified. That's the only positive I have, she was very understanding and said we would not be charged. When we finally found lodgings at a hotel right across the street, we were informed that the entire city was under a boil water notice and they gave us free bottles of water and clear instructions. NOT ONE PERSON AT QUALITY INN MENTIONED THE BOIL WATER NOTICE!!!!
One of the Worst Hotel stays ever.

The room smelled of cigarettes. When we arrived the Air Conditioner was on high and the room was very cold. We turned on the heat and dust poured from the heater. The pool was green. There was no breakfast as advertised. But we were offered a bag of snack for our stay. The TV would not work and the front desk never answered the phone. Just a bad experience for us.
Awful, nothing like the photos. Do not book.

This hotel was disappointing and disgusting. We booked this hotel for a july 2021 weekend on a budget as we could not afford the nightly rate that Geneva had going, The photos looked great, the reviews were fine, we had no worries. We show up and right off the bat the customer service is less than welcoming. We get in the elevator to go upstairs and step out... the hallways REEK of Cigarettes. Extremely strong and potent. We enter the room only to be hit right off the bat with the smell of MOLD. YES, MOLD! I smelt it myself right away and seconds later the other two guests in my party asked if that was mold. Both of us are allergic to mold and definitely had a headache in the room all weekend. We discovered much of the smell was coming from the AC unit and bathroom, so in the month of July we had to spend our entire stay with the AC off. There were toenails on the carpet, dust all over the furniture and the bathroom was of course, disgusting. Yes you read that correctly, we found a toenail on the carpet and none of us cut our nails during the visit. Luckily we brought our own cleaning supplies including Clorox wipes and Lysol spray which we used on the bathroom and all common surfaces. We had to wear our shoes in the room because we were so afraid to go barefoot on the carpet. We had no choice but to try and make it through the stay as we could not afford to eat the money and go somewhere better. We spent as much time away from the hotel as possible. We asked the front desk for extra bath towels and the young teenage girl sighed and walked reluctantly to the back to get more. Take our word for it and spend an extra $50-100 a night for ANY of the decent hotels in Geneva. This is coming from a few people in their young 20s and even we couldn’t handle this.
