Fell short of expectations

Dated, understaffed and a funky vibe. Location wasn't bad, amenities were basic and staff friendly. Updating and better staffing / management are needed. Potential is there and would consider a future stay

Very good option for travelers coming to Laredo on business

Rooms are very comfortable and clean but hotel common areas were really warm. Breakfast is not very suitable for northern American or Brazilian taste, my case. I think it was good for locals or people living near the border but as there is not a lot of options around, it could be more inclusive. Other than that I would return there for future travels.

Not the best

Avaliou em 28 de dezembro de 2017

The building is nice, the physical space of the hotel is clean & well maintained . It is energy efficient, motion sensor lights in the corridor, room key needs to be inserted for power in the room. The room was alright, basic & clean. There is no fridge or microwave in the room & the only ice machine is on the 4th floor. There is virtually no water pressure in the sink nor any hot water. There was somewhat tepid water to have a shower with! I guess they are energy efficient to the point of not providing hot water to the rooms. The staff are friendly enough.

Great place to stay the price was good the air conditioning was wonderful and very clean and the breakfast was great. This is a very new facility a little bit out of town as you just entering. There was a pool and gymnasium which proved to be very nice

Decent Stop

After a long day of driving north we decided to stop for the night in Nuevo Laredo before we crossed the border. I think you can get a lot more for your money on the Mexico side, but it's a mixed bag. Most people would advise you not to stop in this city, but it looked relatively safe online. This hotel is newer, very convenient to the bridge, located along the outside loop of the city on a road with not a lot of traffic. It is a quiet area of town. I would have felt better if the hotel had secure parking, however, and there was an unoccupied guard shack and no gate. There's a ramp that goes underground, but that's not parking. We didn't have any problems but we unloaded our whole car and took everything up to our room. The pool water was very cold, even though the temps were close to 100F, probably because it's completely covered from the sun. We were disappointed we didn't get to enjoy it, we tried but it was too cold for our infant, even for me, to be in for more than a few minutes. We also had trouble getting hot water to our room, the knobs didn't make any sense.... once we finally figured it out, the hottest it would get was kind of lukewarm-ish. They gave us one small bottle of water for the whole room and charged us 10 pesos for additional bottles. One bottle isn't enough; you need to choose whether to brush your teeth or make a pot of coffee. Now the good: the beds and pillows were very comfortable, and the room was clean. The breakfast was excellent, and had chilaquiles (my favorite!), refried beans, eggs, vegetables, fruits and cereals. The breakfast was a great value! The guy at the front desk helped us order delivery from a local Mexican restaurant. The A/C worked perfectly. We had some noisy neighbors but we could only hear them when they were in the hall and opening/closing their door loudly—once they were in their room, we couldn't hear anything! So I'm actually counting that as a plus for the construction. Overall, I would probably stay here again; but it was just a little bit less nice than I expected it to be.
