We stayed 2 nights while visiting family. The walls are papet thin, rooms very noisy and in need of updating. One person on staff so had to wait for them to be done smoking to check in. Syringe left laying in parking lot. Definitely will not be staying there again.
Review of stay at Wndham
My stay at Motel 8 in Roseburg, OR was 2 weeks. Other than difficulties with the internet connection, my stay was very nice. The staff was amazing and My room was quite comfortable. With the COVID RESTRICTIONS, they did their best to make your stay pleasant. I highly recommend this hotel.
Flithy room
We have stayed at this motel 8 in Roseburg Oregon in the past. It has always been a clean and decent place to stay. This time the room was filthy the bed had dirt in the sheets. The bathroom had broken items in it and the microwave was filthy. There will not be a next time.
Here for work
The staff was great. Our crews spent more than a month here and the staff was very accommodating. Nice to come back to after working all day. Special thanks to Lori for making the stay even more memorable.
Easy Access
This is an older hotel. They have done updates. The beds are in desperate need of updating. Not so comfortable. Bring your own blankets as there are not enough in the room. Not fond of sheets with fuzzballs(pillbugs) on them at all. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast left little to be desired. For this price point, what can you expect. The smell of "pot" was very evident at the entrance we used. This hotel though right off the interstate was not too bad. You could hear the traffic, especially the trucks using the jake brakes. The hallways were quiet and you really couldn't hear anyone. We hear the upstairs person a couple of times but really it was non existent. We were right next to the vending machines, laundry and ice machine and you couldn't hear anyone. The tv was rather small but it was tv. The shower curtain rod is barely hanging on the wall. The towels are small and they do not believe in giving you any more than 1 per person, so you have to go and ask for more. In this new way of traveling and staying in hotels I haven't figured out why a very in depth cleaning doesn't take place. The night stands were easily moved and you could tell it hadn't been cleaned in awhile. The alarm clock that was behind the one nightstand was a tell tell sign of no cleaning. There are not enough plugs in the room, there were no usb plugs in the lamps. This hotel has different cleaning methods compared to our last stay just a few weeks ago at a different hotel. The hotel served its purpose but next hotel I hope to have a comfortable bed!
