One of the best hotels in Hokkaido
The hotel is beautifully made, with artistic touch all around the halls, lobby and rooms. It offers great facilities and restaurants, as well as a karaoke bar and feet onsen cafe! be sure to arrive as early as possible to make use of its facilities.
Good stayed. Incredible Onsen and fantastic view.
Stayed 2 nights with half board on 12/9, room no.414, I chose the package for celebrate my girlfriend birthday which include birthday cake and dinner in private room, it's awesome. The view was impeccable. And the public bath was incredible, spacious and decent. service was attentive, I think only the drawback was the quality of the meal, can be better. But overall lovely stayed and worthy it.
Excellent onsen bath and hotel room with great service
Frriendly staff immediately fetch our luggage to our room as soon as we arrived the hotel. Apart from spectacular rooms, The onsen water and hot spring bath area here was one of the best that I’ve ever encountered throughout Japan. In addition, food was also fantastic and the Premium Lounge in the hotel with snacks and drinks provided gave me a more relaxing and enjoyable time for my stay. Last but not least, I was also really appreciative that the staff arranged me a beef-free meal which I requested prior to the arrival of the hotel. I will definitely come to this hotel for my next Hokkaido trip.
We were greeted with warm towels upon arrival. Our traditional japanese room was huge. We have our private onsen en suite. But if I were to return, I would choose the room without the private onsen to save on costs as hotel’s public bath is outstanding. Best onsen in our entire 14 dag stay. Bath has 2 floors. Found on the first floor are the indoor and outdoor pools. The view is amazing! Upstairs are the 2 sauna tooms and 3 more pools. The water is brownish abd makes your skin smooth. The beauty products ( face wash, mask etc) in the public onsen are exquisite. Best among those I’ve tried. Breakfast and dinner are part of the package. It’s ok, just that it’s the same for the 2 days we stayed. The bus also arranged transfers for the nearby Sairinka festival for a small fee. They also helped us book a taxi for our early trip to Shikaoi.
Lives up to its name
This hot spring hotel fronting the Tokachi river is possibly the best in this resource-rich area of east Hokkaido, living up to its “number one” name. Our small tour group was warmly welcomed with hand towels and luggage was expeditiously delivered to our modernized Jaoanese-styled room, of which they have a few. Our room faced the river, which was nice, but the tatami rooms opposite ours also had good views of the trees beyond. The buffet breakfast dining room was pleasant, You did not get that squeezy, hurried feeling with some busy tourist hotels, and the staff were helpful. One of our members came down late, and the staff patiently waited for her to finish her meal though it was past the closing time. The onsen was the highlight of our overnight stay. It has a lovely outdoor bath complete with a jacuzzi corner. One level up is yet another jacuzzi bath, a cold water bath and best of all, an aromatherapy steam room, which unfortunately is not open till later in the morning. My only gripe is the scarcity of post-shower moisturizing and styling products in the dressing area, with only one face gel on the counter- most pathetic of all the onsens I have visited. The hotel can surely do better than that on this score. The send off was an impressive one, with a whole array of staff lined up to wave our coach off, from what appeared to be the GM to the chef, until we were out of sight. We would stay here again if we were to revisit the region.
