we were here for a softball tournament. its a newly remodeled hotel.they didnt know what it used to be but thank god it wasnt the ramada. that place was a dump. it was so new they didnt even have the ice machines yet, so they got us ice from the kitchen. the bagged breakfast could have been better, maybe let us pick the cereal or something. the staff was very helpful and friendly and the hotel was great. i hope we stay here again.....way to go folks
Perfect Hotel for our one-night-stay needs

We recently stayed at the Holiday Inn-Palmdale, needing a relaxing place to stop for one-night on the way from Palm Springs to the SF Bay Area. This hotel exceeded our expectations.
We had one of the end-rooms on the 3rd floor (of 5 floors) so we had a balcony, which overlooked the mountains and the highway in the distance. The hotel was super-convenient for us as a perfect spot to transition from Highway 138 to 14/138 on our way north
We loved our room. It was the look of a business hotel. Clean, efficient (with a large desk), small fridge, microwave, power sources everywhere to charge our phones and laptop. All the other amenities --- free wifi, free parking, super comfortable Queen bed, large flatscreen, etc.
Customer service was excellent --- Jessica at the desk directed me when I was lost plus gave us excellent directions and suggestions for dinner, the ladies at the desk in the morning were very friendly and mailed my postcard
All the COVID protocols were observed fully. Unfortunately, that included the restaurant/bar being closed on week-ends but thanks to Jessica's directions, we took off for the massive Antelope Valley Mall which had every good chain restaurant imaginable. It's so huge, it was hard to choose.
The hotel is right near the north entrance of 14/138 heading north (and at the corner of some gas stations) which made our 350 mi drive north easier.
We'll be back as the Palmdale-Lancaster area is now our favorite stop on the way to and from Palm Springs. Next time, we'll go to the Indian Museum (when it opens) as well as the Poppy Reserve.
Amazing Staff Goes Above and Beyond

I am writing from a very unique experience. I was in charge of booking accommodations for a film crew in Lancaster. I directly worked with Alyssa, who gave me an AMAZING rate for my crew and made herself completely available anytime I had a question or a room change. When I suddenly have a massive change in my group out of nowhere, she worked with me to adapt all of my reservations. I was SO stressed about booking everyone, and she made sure it was easy to do. She sent me updated reservation lists every day, kept in contact with the front desk staff so they could make after-hours changes, and was the nicest person I have ever emailed with. I would also like to shout-out several of the front desk staff, including Jessica, Don, Odyssey, and more! I am so sorry to anyone whose names I am forgetting at the moment, but they all were a big part of keeping my film crew safe and secure. I would highly recommend the Holiday Inn in Palmdale for any future film shoot.
Worst Holiday Inn ever

I posted a review few days ago stating poor housekeeping service. Inconsistent services. I was hoping after, I got a response from the manager on my review that things would improve.
Over the years I have stayed almost exclusively with holiday in and Hilton being my second choice.
I am in essential worker and I take a shower twice a day. During my last stay supply of towels was rationed. During this day when I reached last night late, only to realize there was no bath soap or shampoo in the bathroom. I initially didn’t think much of it but then I went to the front office this evening, After coming from the hospital. I informed her about lack of shampoo or soap in the shower only to be informed, “we have stopped supplying soap and shampoo.” No indication on the website no description and just boom stopping off basic sanitary supply- you would think it is essential in this COVID-19 situation.
And did I forget to mention that their ice making machine has been broken for last more than a month.
I guess time to switch the loyalty from Holiday Inn to Hilton. I may try another holiday inn down the line But currently with three back to back poor experiences, I don’t think I am coming back to this branch anytime soon.

I recently stayed in this hotel on a business trip. It was a very short trip, in late and out early. I believe it was Alexis at the front desk, that helped me. She recognized my Platinum status and offered me comped drinks at the restaurant / bar. The room was clean and quiet. While it was a short trip, I felt that the customer service was excellent and worthy of mention.
