Most horrible hotel ever experience!!!!’

The worst hotel experience I have ever had in 25 years. They stole $250 from me for smoking when I haven’t smoked ever in my life. The manager Cody lied to me saying she would make it right for a week. Now she said she can’t I am calling corporate now to get back my stolen money.

It's about 30 min away from Space Center Houston- good location although a little tricky to get there. Very nice staff and great location when it came to watching firework shows throughout the area. Having a kitchenette was a great assett. Room was somewhat dusty but overall fine.

The front desk is the best staff I have ever encountered. I would highly recommended this hotel to anyone.... The rooms were clean and i couldn't believe I had a full size fridge in my room. The gym was very convenient for me when I needed my daily work out!! My friends and I had a blast!! Thank you Candlewood for having us....

The room we stay in was clean and nice size, beds and pillows were comfortable, loved the kitchenette and all the dishes made things very convenient. Outside area was very nice and noticed they were pet friendly. The front desk staff were extremely friendly and had good knowledge of the area . Would recommend this property.

Our First Stay at Candlewood Suites

Our first stay at a Candlewood Suites was an unexpected surprise. Unexpected in that we didn’t think we would need to abandon our house for over a week, and a surprise because we didn’t realize this new hotel was close by - and pet friendly. Over our stay we’ve gotten to visit with several of the staff members, and they’ve all been very friendly and helpful. The hotel is on the beltway feeder, but set back far enough that traffic noise is not an issue. The grounds and common areas are kept clean and tidy. The Room: We checked in just a couple of days after the opening, and the shared amenities were fully open and available for use. We booked a double-queen room for us, and our two pups. The room comes with a kitchenette, complete with dishes and silverware, a full size refrigerator, dishwasher and microwave. The bath is furnished with dispensers of body wash, shampoo, and conditioner, along with bar soap and lotion, and hairdryer. Other room items include an ironing board and iron, full size laundry basket and a nice-size Samsung television. The room itself is quite comfortable, with a recliner, office-type desk chair and a padded chair. Plenty of desk space for working, and a section of the desk is on wheels for extra flexibility. The beds are nice, with both firm and soft pillows (marked for your convenience). One thing that I always appreciate is the ability to have the air conditioner fan run at all times for white noise, and this room didn’t disappoint. The Hotel: For those, like me, who were unfamiliar with the Candlewood model, because the rooms have kitchens, breakfast is not furnished by the hotel. They do have a Candlewood Cupboard with food options for purchase and preparation in your room. Room cleaning is done once a week, but fresh towels, and other consumables are available 24/7 from the front desk. This worked out fine for us. So, what’s free? Quite a bit actually. WiFi access is free and stable. Several washers and dryers are available at no charge (you supply the soap). Coffee and tea are always free, as are the refill packs for the in-room coffee makers. There’s also free use of two gas grills on the back patio, and several items in the Lending Lockers, from games, to additional cooking supplies to umbrellas. There’s also a nice fitness area with machines and fee weights ready for use. If you’re traveling with pups, you may want a room located more toward the entry drive (south side). That has the pet potty station and more areas for access to the grass. The hotel is also close to several restaurants and shopping centers. We really like this property and the folks who run it, and I have no hesitation recommending it.
