Be careful of over charge of room stay
Avaliou em 2 de agosto de 2021
Had to stay for 10 days quarantine, my family paid the first day in advance of my checking in, I spent 8 days there and was still required to pay for 10 days. Also being doubles charged for the one day already paid for in advance. The hotel must be running a scam. No sure if management know about this. Will dispute my charges with my bank. They refused to give me my paperwork at check out. The AC broke down, the toilet was broken. This has been my worst stay in this place.

Alternative for brownout nights
Avaliou em 15 de julho de 2018
My senior citizens have health issues and an announcement of a city-wide all-night brownout prompted us to check in Hotel Sogo Santolan. The garage rooms were clean and serviceable considering the affordable price, but the room boys had to carry my wheelchair-bound mom up the steps to the room. Kudos and thank you, kind sirs! Oh! By the way, yes, Sogo Hotel is now a family-friendly place as evidenced by the Hello Kitty room we were given.

Sogo hotels are for a cheap stay, you will be treated like cattle but for Manila prices, its good value

Rooms are generally clean for the most part, service is decent considering the volumes of customers. The prices are ok for Manila and this is evidenced from the large amount of locals who use them. You get a TV and free wifi. Also the rooms can be rented hourly. Word of warning, these hotels can get alot of beggars, scammers and others outside/nearby, even more so then normal in Manila.

Good for overnight stay

We stayed here to avoid the loud firecrackers and smoke coming from them. It annoys my nephew. It is a good place to stay coz it's private and cozy. Amenities are okay. Initially had a problem with a certain cable tv channel, but the staff was able to fix it as soon as I called. Pretty good and clean for a very quick getaway.

First time to enter "SOGO" Motel.....What an experience!
Avaliou em 27 de julho de 2015
We went and checked in on this motel the Saturday before "Pacquiao vs. Mayweather" fight for two things: 1. They had the said event free & 2. We were already tired from our Saturday outing in Las Pinas to visit relatives. Honestly speaking, we were quite pensive and yet excited since this was our first time to check in at a "Motel"...but we were galvanized with the fact that SOGO has been veering away from its seedier reputation and is moving forward of reinventing its image as a family friendly "staycation" alternative. We opted to use one of the rooms with a drive-in garage so as to accommodate our Optimus so that he can have his well-deserved rest. The first thing that I noticed is that it lived up to its reputation of "So clean...so good". You can practically smell the strong disinfectant used to laundry the bedsheets and linens. In fairness to SOGO management, they had the basic fringes such as toiletries, slippers, etc... The room was equipped with a small (around 24in estimate) LED TV where we watched the travesty which was the Pacquiao/Mayweather mega BLAH! Overall, the experience was very good. We were able to rest up after a long tiring day...the only downside was the rudeness of the front desk attendant who took the calls for room services. The experience was about to be ruined, but it was their supervisor (whose number is plastered on the mirror) who saved the day by mitigating the situation. Who would have thought that he would respond at such a timely manner. As I have said, we will be back!
