Peaceful and secluded
Avaliou em 28 de Abril de 2020
The hacienda itself has rooms, though my two children and our (small) dog stayed in a 3-bedroom cabin outside, one of nine stone cabins along a secluded hiking path.
Close to Vallodolid (8 min), Chitchen Itza (40 min), and the ruins of Ek Balam (about 30 min away). I've been to the former before, but never the latter - and the location of San Miguel was ideal, allowing us to arrive early in the morning at each. We summitted Ek Balam, still open to tourists; Chitchen Itza no longer is, though at least I climbed it once, long ago.
A private pool. Dog friendly. Breakfast (about $5 USD a person per day). Peaceful and restful.
no service at all

We stayed here for just one night and at the wrong period of the year. 29th we arrived arround 13:30 coming from Bakalar which is a different timezone, so one hour later. We were told check in is at and our room is not ready yet, but at 15:00.Then we were left allone at the recwption. Nobody offered us water or something else. Nobody was talking to us, showing us arround until 15:00. Then the rooms were ready, we were told that breakfast is available from 8-11. The next day there was no breakfast at all. The rooms are very humid, the matrasses are humid, very hard and very small size 140x190, surely not made for tall people. All together this place was a very big disappointment!
Great experience for the price!!!

If you really like to experience going back in time and have the opportunity of the staying in one of these old haciendas of the Yucatán at an affordable price, this is your chance!
The place is clean of course is in the middle of the jungle so you will have to expect the occasional bug.
The staff is friendly they are not experience on luxury hotels but if you spend a time to talk to them they will give you enough information.
I would recommend you to bring food supplies and drink supplies as the restaurant does not a have agreat variety of products.
You are early walk through the trails in the morning it’s a must!
Beautiful, relaxing, out of the way

This lovely little hacienda is the perfect place to stay if you're looking for a quiet place to relax and enjoy Yucatán. The staff is very friendly and accessible, and the service is truly above and beyond. They also serve a delicious breakfast, fresh from the hacienda. So if you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of the Riviera Maya and get out of the over-touristed sites, this is a great place to do it.
Excellent - within reach of Chechen Itza

Started to stay in hotel zone at Chechen Itza then found Hacienda. Beautiful country property with atmosphere. Comfortable cabana and helpful staff. Limited English spoken but we lacked for nothing. Expect no A/C but sleep was comfortable. Limited dinner menu but excellent food. Recommend it
