Recomendo vivamente :)
a lovely place to relax and enjoy. Clean and beautiful environment and good service. Stylish house and very good apartments. We book our way in from March 4 to April 4, but due to border closure due to corona viruses. We booked out March 19th. We hope to come back to you when this epidemic ends.
Nice pool areas and lots of things to do for kids. All inclusive beer was lame. Buffet food was fine and kids also found always something good to eat. Ps4 at the family appartment had no internet connection. Personel and cleaning worked good enough. Definetly going to visit again!
Totally worth the high reviews!
Travelled as two friends wanting a relaxing holiday in the sun. Hotel is wonderful, from the moment you arrive and are warmly greeted at reception to the moment you leave. Good bits Staff - everywhere are friendly, helpful and superb, can’t fault them. Rooms - very clean and well appointed. We had one with two bedrooms and a living room; really the second bedroom is for kids but did us fine. There is a second TV in kids bedroom which has a DVD player in it. Useful to bring some dvds for the kids as TV channels only get BBC world which was fine for us. Our bungalow 130 was superb, and closest to pool and bar so for friends travelling perfect! And no, not a noisy place to be either. Food - selection and quality for what Is technically a three star hotel is superb, just as good as the four star Marylanza Suites (which is also an excellent hotel, albeit more expensive) up the road where I stayed last year. Excellent breakfasts, even had English sausages! Restaurant has a very good sized covered outdoor area too to eat at which is nice. Not very noisy at all either, probably because very few English there, mainly Scandinavians who seem so much better behaved. Bars - only one main bar really next to restaurant. Staff superb, range of drinks ok, but local wine is a little sharp. There is a ‘bar salon’ down some stairs from reception where the evening entertainment is. Pools - two pool areas, both with a larger one and a smaller kids one. We preferred one next to bar/restaurant. Not only more convenient but appears a little nicer. The pool is a little salt watery, not that you’ll really notice it, and properly heated. Wonderful place to relax! Plenty of sun loungers around the pool. Towels are free once you’ve given a 15 euro deposit and can be changed everyday via the lifeguard. Activities etc - spa small entertainment team do all they can to provide some fun stuff for the kids and aqua aerobics for the grown ups etc. Lots of facilities for young families, great play area, kids club, small contained Astro turf football pitch etc, all well kept and used. Very child friendly, will definitely consider bringing my two young ones back next time. The room keys! What a great idea, you get the standard wristband (different colours for room only to fully inclusive), and on them a small plastic card which opens your door. No need to remember your key, it’s with you all the time. what a really great idea, hopefully this will become the norm. Clientele - I have to say, but how nice that there were so few British people here. Main,y Scandinavians, all very nice and well behaved. Why can’t we be more like them when abroad? Not so good/tips V little to say here. Evening entertainment is somewhat mediocre, was much better at Marylanza. They do have a singer/musician from time to time in evenings on small stage too in outdoor restaurant area. Unfortunately the level of talent wasn’t really worth pursuing with... I think the hotel suffers from not having a small spa. Personally, I’d shut a bungalow or two and provide an area for massages and treatments. I would’ve used it a lot, and I expect many other parents wishing to have a relaxing hour away would too. The Tui brochure said you could have a massage in your room but I didn’t see any evidence of this (should have asked) and it wouldn’t be the same and probably overpriced anyway.. The terracotta tiles around the pool are deceptively slippery when when, take care, it caught me out a couple of times. I’d suggest bringing some foot ware with good gripping soles, the entertainment team all wear trainers, perhaps a good idea. Bring dvds if you have a two bed place and are travelling with kids. I know my two could’ve been kept quiet for an hour in the evening when getting ready to go out that way. If you are a Tui customer... I’ve been travelling with Tui for several years now, normally with a small family and I have to say, what a useless company it is. Unfortunately it has the market cornered so we have to use them... Reps as always seem to know nothing and are only interested in getting you booked onto one of their vastly overpriced excursions. Can’t even be bothered to put in the Tui folder the times of your pick ups to go back to airport. Seem to rely on text messages and you down loading Apps which wouldn’t on their 3G system... big advice, do not use their return coach transfer to airport. It’s the second year running from Playa de las Americas and another pain in the bum. It’s a 20 minute journey to the airport but this will take 1 hour 20 as the coach goes everywhere it can to pick anybody up. After all, Tui don’t care, you’ve had your holiday by then. Get a taxi booked instead, much easier (especially as Taxi rank is outside hotel) and pretty cheap. I was an idiot not to.. If you’re going out and about, the small beach nearest the hotel isn’t the best available, go east along a bit and two better ones. Lots of shops, bars and restaurants nearby. But why does every restaurant or bar have to have five TV screens consistently showing football? I’d rather watch paint dry. The Irish pub Dubliner on other side of road is pretty much the busiest place around, with a downstairs bar which gets active from midnight - though like all bars in Tenerife they seem to think everyone is deaf. The average age around I’d S a little weird, either groups of Hen parties and Stags in their 20s, or a load of people over 55 with little in between. Very strange. Oh, and be careful of all the mobility scooters who may run you over, though you can hire them for 70euros a week for two seater ones! Overall A fantastic hotel, very clean, good child friendly facilities, food and outstanding staff all over. I cannot fault this place, and certainly performing well above it’s official 3 stars. I will certainly be coming back here. Thank you Parque Cristobal for a fantastic relaxing week and may the corona virus nightmare not hurt you and your wonderful hotel!
