NOT worth the money for this hotel!!

Stayed here - bad location. Right next to a busy mall making entrance and return very difficult in heavy traffic. The hotel room was almost bare - my husband said it looked like a clean jail room. No pictures - one mirror, no hair dryer, no coffee maker, no glasses, cups, etc. The breakfast was a joke - granola bar and stale wrapped muffins but they did have coffee. The real kicker is the price - not cheap!! Recommend staying at Hampton Inn or Holiday Inn express for more reliable services. It was clean- that is the only good thing I can say.

It was a disaster from the start. I was asked by the staff during check in if I wanted a room now or wait. I asked about the benefits of checking in versus waiting and was given no information to form an opinion. I found out after that I was given the second to the last room from the only elevator only because the last room was occupied. Service requests had to be made multiple times and even then I had to catch the cleaning staff on the floor to just get the sink plunged in the bathroom. This was supposed to be a 3 week stay while I waited for my apartment to be ready. The hotel breaks bills up as most customers are business. That worked for me. However, it must not have been conveyed to others or entered in the reservation system. On Wednesday day 8, after a long morning out, I arrive to a room that cannot be accessed with the card key currently in my possession. Although the manager, Michael, minimized it saying the key just didn’t work. Once I did get into the room all indications confirmed my suspicions that I was locked out of the room. No internet access which uses the ROOM NUMBER for the password. Miraculously a few hours later I was again able to connect to the internet. After expressing my frustrations, because I had rushed to my room to use the bathroom, I was asked, no told by management that I was no longer welcome here. That I would NEVER be satisfied with the hotel and its staff. Now this is in Savannah during a severe weather event. To summarize, Extended Stay and their management is more concerned with “being right” than the safety of its customers and citizens in general. I WILL NEVER stay at another Extended Stay if I have to pay for it.

Clean Hotel with extremely supportive Hotel manager and staff

We stayed at Extended Stay America in Savannah just for one night. Our room was well equipped and very clean. All interior was in excellent condition. When our son had a health issue all the staff and especially Michael the hotel manager where fanastic and extremely supportive. Thanks again! Five stars for the Hotel and 5plus for the team running the hotel. We will definitely stay at Extended Stay America again when being back to Savannah.

Great option for overnight

We had an amazing experience at this stay, would highly recommend to anyone looking for a comfortable and affordable stay. The location is great with many restaurants and shops nearby, but also quiet and was perfect for us as we have little dog so lots of grassy fields around the property for us to take her out. Craig the night man was incredible, so kind and accommodating. Will definitely stay here again on another road trip!

Don’t stay if you want A working hotel

Hotel got hit by lightning 5 days ago, elevator is still out, AC in rooms are still out, internet is still out. Hotel isn’t doing anything to help out guests, and when you call the 1-800 number they tell you to, there is nothing they are willing to do as well, all while it’s 100+ degrees out during a hot Savannah summer. Talked to customer service supervisor named Rainy, who refused to even pretend to care about the problem. While I understand things can happen for a night or even two, the pure lack of the hotel even trying to care about helping or making things right so you can stay in a habitable hotel is concerning. People have resorted to leaving their front doors open, as the hallways AC is somewhat working, just as a way to cool room down. If you are seeing this review, and coming to the hotel soon, I would cancel right away and look else where, as there is a decent chance your room won’t be habitable (but that won’t stop them from renting it to you). And if your looking at staying here in the future, (if the hotel hasn’t fallen apart by then), I would suggest you look else where to maybe a hotel that cares enough, to make it so you might not die in the middle of the night from heat stroke.
