My daughter was having back surgery and booked this room for her recovery with family to help her. After being released from the hospital we had to actually change rooms due to a problem with the mini fridge, I asked if it could just be swapped out with a different one but not an option. Then the beds were so high she couldn’t get in one, so we asked for a recliner chair that is usually in most handicapped rooms and were informed they didn’t have any. We then asked if we could bring in a chaise lounge for her and was told no it was a fire hazard. I explained we had more than enough room without blocking any isle or doorway but still the answer was no! They wouldn’t even come to the room to see for themselves. So we decided to leave the next morning because she could not get comfortable sitting up in a chair all night and the pain was excruciating. After informing the front desk that we would be checking out and were in fact already in the process of by 9:00am the woman at the desk said we needed to contact Expedia for a refund and let them know we were cancelling part of our reservation. So we did and they said the hotel had to cancel the remaining days of the reservation before they could ask for the refund. Tried multiple times to call the hotel and no one ever answered and no message line. Anyway the hotel was not honest about the checking out process and has refused to issue a refund. This is the worst hotel experience I have ever had! The pool/spa was gross and hadn’t been maintained, the ceiling next to our room was leaking and falling in, the room wasn’t clean, the restaurant was always closed and we did have a view of the river but the windows were old and fogged up in between the panes so you couldn’t really see much. The pictures posted on their website are very deceiving, doesn’t look like that at all.

Awful hotel, but great location.

We booked room on RedLion website. We pulled up, very rundown outside. No resterant or bar as advertised on website. I went up to check on the room, could not find it, as most of the rooms did not have room numbers. Hallways dark and smelled. Cats and dogs living in some rooms, saw them from outside windows. Kind of scary. We left found another hotel.

The room showed some wear, but was clean and everything worked. There was one bartender / waitress for the entire bar, restaurant. It wasn't very busy, but she could have used some help. I thought she did a great job keeping up with everything and maintaining a good attitude. The front desk was at times vacant with no way of summoning someone. There also seems to be some confusion about the breakfast. My take from the website was that breakfast was included and that's what I thought when I booked the room on the Red Lion website. After I checked in I went back to the front desk and asked if we needed a voucher or something for the breakfast. The person working said, "no, just go eat." I said, " it is included though, right? " She said yes. When I went to breakfast the next morning the guy attending the buffet said that if it wasn't included with my room, the charge was $11. I said it was, but he went out to the front desk to confirm it and came back and told me it wasn't. After some back and forth, I told him I would take it up with the front desk. I told my story to the desk clerk at the time and he said, No problem, don't worry about it. I could have done without the hassle though. Breakfast was so, so at best.

I got the jettet tub suite for 3 nights. Cost almost $500. We got there late at night on the first night and the girl at the front desk was extremely rude. It was almost 1 am when we got there and she didnt bring us the crib until 2:30am. The room was tiny and reminded me of a motel 6 room. The sink wouldnt drain and the secon night of our stay the light above the tub burned out. The pool and hot tub are out of service which is the main reason why we satyed in a hotel. You would think they would mention that on their website. It said it came with free breakfast but it didnt. The only good things about this stay were the tub and the breakfast. I feel like i got ripped off. And if you respond with Hello, Thank you for staying with us, and for leaving us a review. We sincerely apologize for the issues you experienced, and want you to know that we will be looking into them directly. We appreciate your stay, and hope that we might have another opportunity to impress you in the future. The same impersonnal message that u leave everyone with a complaint, i will freak out.

It was an alright room , but everything was dated/worn ..

First off , when we got to room , the back door to the river was not deadbolted or chained .. Toilet did a Whistling Pete when flushed , No coffee maker in room , bathroom door didn't close right - Wife killed a big spider by door in morning , I noticed a dead fly squished on the wall behind the TV .. Nice TV , AC worked , so it wasn't the worst room we've stayed in , but Red Lion , I sort of expected a little more ..
