Great staff
We had a large group stay here for a ski trip to Winterplace (20 minute drive). The staff did an amazing job accommodating everyone. Bed was very comfortable. Bathroom was clean. Nice thick towels. We had a King suite - I avoided the couch though. Did not look the best. I feel like sleep inn is a value hotel so I partly expected that. The lighting in our room was dim for some reason. But our friend’s rooms were brighter. For our large group, this hotel worked well. Again, the staff was the best. And there are lots of dining options around the hotel and a Starbucks.
Ok for a night
Price was ok. Motel was ok. Saw A bug in the room (maybe because it is in the south). Front desk staff was excellent!!!! Gave a lower rating due to age and condition of rooms. However, the bed and pillows were excellent! Also, was surprised at the poor breakfast offerings. The only option was a chocolate chip muffin. I would suggest, other options to include breakfast bars, yogurt, fruit.
Overnight stay back to Canada
Place for the night after a 12 hour drive from Florida. Close to highway and places to eat.The staff at front desk was friendly and polite. The room was clean but carpets need to be changed. Had to pull door hard in order to lock.The breakfast was good.
If safety matters...
This email to the fire inspectors and the franchise company.- "Wall outlets in room xxx are so worn that chargers make poor contact and often fall out of the outlet. Electrical outlets on lamps are also worn and provide only intermittent power. I suspect other rooms on this property are also unsafe. "... but the real problem are worn-out outlets that could cause more serious problems like fires if left unaddressed" I'm providing notice to all parties should there actually be a tragic fire at this location." Though less important, the ice machine on level 2, away from the elevator is inop.
Very nice for a night
We had two comfortable rooms with two double beds each. Very clean, comfortable beds. Very nice shower in a minimal bathroom. The breakfast included once-frozen eggs and ham, placing it above many competitors. Otherwise, the breakfast was fine - and they had donuts! Fine for a stopover while traveling.
