Good Visit in September
Avaliou em 5 de Outubro de 2021
Arrived late at night, out early. Safe, clean, pleasant staff, nice room and lobby area. Easy parking. It's a nice Fairfield. Some sort of fair nearby, not sure what that was all about, but didn't seem to impact us at all.
Will be back!

Just got home after staying at Fairfield in Puyallup for two nights, and my family had a relaxing and convenient experience.. I manage a hotel so I am picky and carefully researched my options, I couldn’t be happier with my choice! The room was great for my family of five. Very clean, great amenities, and very warm service from everyone we encountered from check in to breakfast and the folks tending to the rooms. Fresh linens on request. We visited to go to the fair, an easy walk from the location of the hotel. We will definitely stay again as we go every year and have family living in the area. My only suggestion would be better enforcement of the mask mandate, only about half of the guests wore masks and a few of the front desk/management has their masks pulled down. That was a bit uncomfortable going in the elevator or approaching the desk. This was our first trip since the pandemic began so that was a concern of mine.
It's Quality is Slipping

We stayed in room 306 and the power went out on Friday night and didn'tcome back on until after 8:00 am the next day. When I opened the curtains to get some light in the room, I noticed the carpet around the air conditioning unit was soaking wet. Told the front desk the next day, they said it was normal. Really, wet carpet is normal? So, I'm sure it's just a matter of time before mold sets in! If the unit leaks water or has a condensation issue that causes the carpet to be soaked and that's normal, what is housekeeping going to do? Just soak up the water? That's not fixing the problem.
The other issue is all they have for breakfast is a small breakfast sandwich in a sack. You can grab a juice or milk but that's it. This was a great place to stay and we have been doing it for years, but I'm afraid it has to change. There was fights in the hotel, police have been called and they allow their customers to smoke weed in the parking lot near the door and it appears they can do that in the stairwells. This place has gone downhill in a quick way.
One night stay, not again

Interestingly, for most people, it's the small gestures that matter. It is that way for me. My husband and I checked in for a one night stay to visit a relative in Tacoma. So, we were offered 1 bottle of water . . . um. . there were 2 of us in front of her and both of us were checking in. Claimed water bottle shortage. Whattt???? Who cares? We are Lifetime Gold members - we each like a bottle of water on our end tables. We stayed at 7 hotels in 10 nights on a West Coast tour and this was the ONLY hotel that did not offer both of us bottles of water. I can't even comment on any other aspect of this hotel, because nothing else was noted past this ridiculous encounter at check in. Would not recommend and if in the area again, would not stay. Yes . . . it's the little things that matter. Take note Fairfield Suites.

This place is a very nice, clean, professional place with friendly helpful staff. The room was spacious with lots of room and the bed provided good night's sleep. It had a nice desk, good internet, refrigerator, microwave, and lots of options on the tv. The only negative is that it's right beside a busy freeway and there is a lot of road noise always. The complimentary breakfast is also far below other similar hotels' quality.
