Fomos para Raleigh fugindo do Furacão Irma. A cidade é bem receptiva e jovem pelo fato de ter varias Universidades. O lugar do Sheraton é bem central, próximo dos principais restaurantes e bares, apesar do centro ser relativamente pequeno. O Sheraton é tradicional mas já necessitando de reforma. Não queira pedir dicas de restaurantes ou o que fazer, pois o mau humor dos atendentes é impressionante. Fique pela localização central mas não espere mais do que isso.

There were no ammenities. The bathroom needed much updating!! Also the floor tiles were stick on tiles that popped each time you stepped on them. The furniture was crap the drawers on the dresser would not stay shut. No fridge. Small room. Just not up to the standard I expected with the cost of the one night stay!! VERY DISSAPPOINTED!!

Not up to Sheraton or Marriott standards

Poor. No complimentary luggage carts. Had to wait 15 minutes twice for bellman. Elevators did not work. One out for the 4 days and another out another day. One elevator to serve 17 floors! Had to wait 25 minutes on elevator. Wife was not walking down 14 flights in high heels and formal dress. Coffee maker and telephone in room not working. Called and told to go across street to Starbucks. Tv in room very small. Another in our party said no shower curtain or hair dryer. Another said hair dryer and bath fan did not work. No Ice machines on each floor. Will never stay again.

Three Star hotel, border line 2 stars

I gave this hotel a three star, based on my experience. It is a three star hotel. I am a Marriott Gold Member. We were in Raleigh for my daughter’s courthouse wedding. I booked, the Sheraton due to being a block away from the courthouse and dining restaurants. Check-in was not friendly. Gold Member status was not recognized at first. Half way through the process, she half smiled and thanked me for my loyalty. You do have the ability to check in on your phone app. I prefer the person to person experience. Plus this is not a tech sophisticated hotel. This hotel is in need of remodeling and thorough cleaning. Not really following Covid guidelines. The sanitizing dispensers were often emptied. I booked a king size bed on a high floor. The lobby is dated and needs attention. There is convenient garage parking for a $15 daily fee. There are two entrances to this hotel. No valet parking was available. The bed was comfortable. The room was not properly cleaned. The vinyl tiles were lifted in several places. This was hazardous. I kept tripping on one. The furniture was outdated and worn. The desk chair and sofa both had some white stains. Not sure what it was. There was what looked like a dog pee stain in the carpet that should have been cleaned. AC did not worked well. The bathroom was OK, the bottom of the door frame was rotting. Only one small soap bar and two towels were provided. The bed was not made. The TV was old, looked like one of the first plasmas TVs, and did not work. Only two channels worked, the rest were distorted. I booked the bed/breakfast deal to make it easier. There’s a lobby restaurant Vic’s where buffet breakfast is served. No ordering off the menu. Breakfast was good. Shelley our waitress was attentive and great. She was the only one of the hotel staff, that provided good service with a smile. Downtown, is full of homeless people walking around, sleeping in the nearby park and harassing for money. More so than I have ever seen in my previous trips. I do not recommend going out at night in the area unless you are in a big group. I also recommend booking an offsite hotel not in downtown unless you are on a business trip.

Once Again -- A TOP Notch Experience!

I routinely stay at this property due to the outstanding service that I receive. I believe that the quality of my stay is a direct reflection of the quality of management. In this case, that proves (time and time again) to be true. All staff members that I have interfaced with (ranging from the front desk staff to the restaurant) have provided me with exceptional service, and I qualify that, in that I am a Marriott Titanium Rewards member, and definitely recognize exceptional service when I experience it. In terms of my initial statement, I have met the management of this facility on several occasions, and they have provide me with individualized attention -- down to the minor details! Service of this level inspires loyalty to the Marriott Brand by its customer base. Kudos to the Sheraton Raleigh! It's my "go-to" hotel!
