Utilizamos apenas a parte externa do restaurante para um café com torta no meio da tarde. Atendimento muito demorado, apenas um garçom para várias mesas repletas de clientes. O banheiro (no subsolo) está em obras devido à enchente de 2013, deve-se o banheiro de um conteiner ao lado do prédio.

Cosy hotel with very nice breakfast

We stayed here for one night. Friendly welcome by the receptionist. We had room 205. No balcony but quite spacious. My husband felt the room was a bit dark and damp. I found it OK, but it did face north, so it was not the brightest room. The shower was good but with very thin/cheap towels. Breakfast was very good. The main hiking paths (including the one to Bastei) are right opposite the hotel.

Nice clean hotel with great location on the Malerweg

We stayed here during our hiking trip on the Malerweg. The hotel is clean and the rooms are spacious. The service in the restaurant is rather chaotic and it is difficult to communicate with the staff. The food is good, though.

This is an excellent choice for those who wish to visit this area and in particular want to hike to the Bastai. The start of the main path to the Bastai is a stone's throw away from the back of the back of the hotel. It is also a few minutes walk from thevriver and has a large parking area, which all inns and hotels in this area do not have. The rooms are spacious and quiet but the real highlight is the sumptuous buffet breakfast. Everything one would wish is served in many varieties, such as two kinds of scrambled eggs and we counted a dozen varieties of cheese and cold cuts each. We highly recommend staying at this reasonably priced hotel.

Great location, amazing sauna and breakfast, cosy rooms

Spent two days there. We really loved the cosiness of the place, felt a bit like après-ski vibe. The sauna is one of the best I've tried (we were alone, that might have helped) with a nice deco. The breakfast was really good, great staff, rooms are correct. Perfect place for an after hiking evening.
