We spent a week at this lovely unspoilt hotel with other couples from our family for a wedding in Ravello. The staff are fantastic, nothing is too much trouble. I have read some negative reviews but our experience was very positive. The rooms are beautifully tiled with wooden shutters and are lovely and cool in the heat. We had a small balcony with a big view. I would say this is a quieter hotel so probably better for adults and not large families with children. Breakfast was always good. The one thing that would make it perfect would be a kettle/ coffee in the room, although there was a fridge with orange juice and water.

We loved Ravello and this hotel was a great launch pad to explore the Amalfi Cost. Rooms were comfortable, wonderfully appointed, and with all amenities you wanted. Both of ours (we were with family) had terraces - one over pool and one over hillside. Right in middle of historic center. Staff and service top notch on all points— rooms, pool, breakfasts, hiking tips. We ate one evening at the terrace of the sister restaurant- Villa Maria. Be sure to get front to make you a reservation so you have a great view.

Horrendous staff avoid at all costs

Really inferior hotel stay mostly due to the rudeness of staff (NO is the most popular word used for anything anytime) and strange hotel polices such as pool opens from 10am as otherwise pool attendant would work too many hours (perhaps hire two as mid July is very hot by 10am); extra charge if one leaves mascara or bronzer on the towels as they can’t be apparently washed off; check out is by 11am and no hotel facilities may be used after that (even for a short period of time). From check in to check out very negative and upsetting staff encounters throughout. Small rooms and tiny bathrooms. Ruined end of our trip. Never again.

My elderly father and I stayed here for a family wedding. They provided us with a ground floor room that had 2 bathrooms, one with an accessible wet room. The front desk staff were very kind and helpful. The housekeeping staff were extraordinary. The breakfast is plentiful with a wide variety of hot and cold selections. The pool is large, clean, and usually quiet. They serve a 'snack' from noon until 3. It is much more than that. The food was expertly prepared and some of the best local cuisine we ate in Ravello. Overall, our experience was 100% positive at Giordano Hotel.

A lot of no's

This place isn't very good. The rooms are tiny. The beds aren't king. The service is subpar. I've never been told "no" so many times for the amount of money I spent. Not to mention, you're literally trapped in Ravello unless you want to fork over in excess of 100 eur to go anywhere. It's a nice area, but c'mon. Get a Airbnb.
