The worst hotel on our 7 day cross country trip! The room was super small and the walls were beat up. The breakfast was so inadequate we ended up not eating very much and should have skipped it all together.

Beware of shady charges

Used my points to book my room at no cost, several days before arriving on my cross country move. When checking out, I was told I was being charged for my room. The person at the front desk told me that if I wanted to be credited back then I would need to call customer service. Stayed at several other Wyndham properties with no issues being charged the room. Spoke to customer service on 06/06 and was told I would be credited back within two business days. No credit has arrived as of yet. Called customer service back on 06/10 and was told their was no notes or anything for my call on 06/06. Was told that it would be an additional 7 days before my credit was issued-was not satisfied. I was informed from customer service that if I wanted the credit sooner then I needed to contact the hotel. Tried calling the hotel 5 times in 4 hours but their phone line was disconnected and going straight to voicemail. Called customer service back and was on the phone with them for 2 hours. They were getting the same result when calling the hotel. Spoke to Member service's account supervisor who was very helpful but she couldn't credit back until speaking to the hotel. Tried calling the hotel on 06/14 and explained the situation to them. Was informed by the front desk(person was very hard to understand due to accent) that they couldn't credit back the money but only points. Mentioned that none of the other hotels did this to me and would like me card refunded, their response was "ok I credit points". Had to go around with them four times before asking to speak with someone else. The front desk stated that the manager wouldn't be in until 1pm MST. This will be my 5th call to get this resolved. Not satisfied at all.

Location accessible, but not much around it. Small, not very clean rooms and facilities; towels and wash cloths old and worn. I didn’t try the breakfast. All things considered, I should’ve slept in my truck.

The Microtel is a good value and easy on, easy off the interstate. Rooms are clean and coffee is good and free in the morning. The lobby is modern and inviting. The smell of the Sinclair refinery greeted me in the morning, but that can’t be avoided in this part of the world. I got a great night’s sleep and had a nice hot shower. What else can you ask for?!

Unsafe and unsanitary

Toilet was clogged with fecal matter. Room was filthy dirty. Towels were dirty, sheets and pillows were not clean. Manager moved us to another room that reeked of smoke. I would not recommend this hotel for any reason.
