Good rest for traveling family

Suite with 2 queens and fold out couch bed fit our family for needed rest. Appreciated having breakfast provided -- ham and peppers in the scrambled eggs, which is better than other hotels we stayed at. Staff noticeably friendly, which I think is a good management sign. Reasonably nice room, though a little grubby on couch pillows and floor. Sink drain was slow.

Quiet in spite of being between two major highways.

Hotel is conveniently located next to an I-5 ramp and close to restaurants. While the highway noise was noticeable, I did not find it to be loud enough to create any problem. The room was comfortable. WiFi worked well. Water is hot and has good pressure. Hot breakfast as a bit disappointing. Dining area is quite small and was over crowded. Staff did have problems keeping the buffet line stocked. The indoor pool was heated and in constant use during the evening. The Spa had shut off and was cold but was restarted by the staff. I didn't wait the hour or so for it to reheat. I would stay here again but only as an inexpensive over-night stop.

Ruined wedding night

Booked and paid on priceline a week ahead. A little disappointed when I arrived to see just how close it was to th freeway. This was my wedding night. Went to check in after wedding with bride. Told by front desk, they do not rent to people who live in Roseburg or within 30 miles of Roseburg. After I explained this was not stipulated when booking, I was told they haven't updated the internet yet. Then she said they would allow me to stay if I leave a $500 deposit. When I explained that was not stipulated when booking, I was told that is their policy. I refused to be treated this way and still stay there. I was so mad on my wedding night, and this was extremely bizarre and unacceptable. When I was leaving the other clerk decided to be a smart@#$ and tell me have a great night. He made it so much worse and I let him know. I want everyone in roseburg and surrounding areas to know this place is a waste of time. I called their corporate office and was told they have no knowledge that this is their policy, and couldnt be helped because I booked through a 3rd party website. The rude clerk was named Jeff.

Not very clean. Disappointing.

I have stayed here several times and sometimes the floors aren't vacuumed, but I let that go. This time I find urine on the toilet seat with many animal hairs. How can you miss that? In the shower there were three areas that looked dirty. Very Gross & Unacceptable.

Stagnant Air

While there are amenities here, TV, Closet, Ironing board, Bathroom etc the AC unit is a bit dated and won't go below 60 as well as not having a functioning Always Blow fan option which coupled with a lack of a Ceiling Fan makes for a room that feels, stagnant. I am writing this "Post Masking Restrictions" however between the lobby, and the Breakfast nook there are a lot of signs for wearing them. No one in the morning was wearing one sitting around, talking almost elbow to elbow. I am going in for a surgery soon and can't afford to catch anything at all. This wouldn't be as heinous to me IF it wasn't for the fact you have to wait for your breakfast to be made while sitting there. So I personally, will just go to Sharis so I am not elbow to elbow with people coughing, and sneezing from who knows were in Oregon. I guess +1 if you like a fresh cooked breakfast, -2 for the fact that you're crowded into a corner for it. Summary, good attendants, passable room, wi fi needs refreshing now and then. Will not be recommending in the future unless necessary but wasn't an awful experience.
