The following is based on my personal opinion and experience:
1. The room was well made on my first day.
2. I asked for my room to be made, but the staff declined to do it for the 2 days I
stayed at the hotel. This is the first for me in 35 years of traveling.
3. The staff said that they serve breakfast from 06:30AM to 10:00AM, but they had
old moldy bagels on the counter; they called grab and go.
One of my vendors who I made a mistake of having him stay at this place, tried to
grab and go a bagel, but it the package contained several families
of live fruit flies inside of the bagel packaging. I guess this must have been an
4. I asked for a hotel stay receipt, but the lady said, "we'll email it to you". I was too
tired and busy to argue with lack of customer service skills.
In the past 35 years or so I have not complaint about a hotel once except for this
pathetic hotel which should not carry the name Marriott Courtyard. I always stay at Courtyards for their consistent quality rooms, good staff and overall comfort. This place was not one of them.
My requests were not unreasonable, please make my room, no won't do it, how about breakfast, well here is a piece of garage with live trimmings that you can have. May I please ask for a printout, no we will email it to you.
I will be planning on making a regular trips to the area, but I personally will not be staying at this "grab a fruit fly and go" place.

I have visited San Antonio very often and I always choose to stay at Marriott. I did my research and read reviews and this specific location had really good reviews. To my surprise it left me wondering WHY THE REVIEWS WERE SO GOOD! The staff was rude with the exception of 1 lady. We asked for extra towels and was told that she was the only one on duty and couldn’t leave that we had to come get them ourselves. Upon check in we were told that the pool was closed and the lady looks at me and says “Do you wanna still stay here!” While my grandchildren were looking forward to visiting the pool this Information should have been in writing before I decided to book this location. We had an issue with the lock on our door. The very nice lady who was the only person on duty quickly came up to fix the issue without a word being said(and SHE WAS THE ONLY ONE ON DUTY AT THE TIME). The day we left to check out no one asked how was our stay nor were we even acknowledged with Thanks for choosing Marriott or anything. I will NEVER stay here again nor will I recommend anyone that I know stay at this location. I would rather stay downtown near the Riverwalk and pay $40 per day parking in which I should have done this trip.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this hotel. Checked in with a very nice clerk named Adriana. My room was a single king, extremely clean, comfortable bed & bedding, enjoyed having a microwave & coffee maker in the room. Room was very quiet, no noise from freeway. Many restaurants nearby & also a HEB grocery.
I was thoroughly impressed in the morning when I came down for Starbucks coffee & they had a wonderful grab and go breakfast. Breakfast sandwiches, yoghurt, fresh fruit, muffins, cereal, oatmeal & more. I made two wonderful cups of Starbucks coffee, heated up a breakfast sandwich & walked up to the front desk to have them add to my bill. The manager said, "No, it is complementary!" I was blown away, as Courtyards do not offer free breakfast. The manager said it was because of the Covid situation & since the pool & hot tub were closed, he wanted to offer his guests something special. Great job!!!
I will be returning in a few weeks to get my Covid shot in San Antonio & will be staying here again.

Hotel was clean and room was comfortable and well maintained. Also a good value. The General Manager and front desk were not up to par and sometimes unfriendly. Some maintenance issues were noticed. Parking was easy and the big TV was appreciated. Would not recommend or return to this property.

We stayed to enjoy graduation at Lackland AFB. The hotel staff is very friendly and welcoming. The hotel is spotlessly clean. The beds are comfortable. The only recommendation is to bring earplugs because the 410 can be very noisy. Overall an excellent stay.
