Very noisey roo

Though I have always used Drury Inn whenever possible, this Inn was so noisey with kids running up and down the hallways allowing doors to slam. I called to complain to the front desk and they said they would take care if it but the didnt. I had 3 hrs of sleep for 250.00. Terrible
Newly Renovated on Leon Creek Trail

I somehow stumbled my way through life without discovering the goodness of Drury till earlier this year. Now I always check if there is a Drury where I need to stay. This property was renovated within the last year. I had an opportunity to speak with Cesar, and he was proud of the renovation taking things up a notch. They did a great job. Drurys are almost always built more solidly than their competition. They do not go cheap. The walls are thick. You can jump on the floors without waking your downstairs neighbor. You can park your vehicle in HUGE spaces in the garage. This is the hotel that gets built by the competition only when the accountants are on an extended leave of absence and aren't there to squeeze every cent of revenue from their capital investment.
I chose this hotel because it backs to the Leon Creek Trail, and I knew I needed some stress relief that only a bike ride through mountain cedar and live oaks can provide. (Look out for snakes and deer wanting to eat your snacks. And if you want to bike to The Rim for ice cream after a heavy rain, the water that pools under 1604 will laugh at your plans.)
As with all Drurys, I recommend spending the extra 20 bucks and getting a King or Queen-Queen suite. The best room layout in the industry. Living room, then a kitchenette and bathroom, a real door, then the bedroom. Just like God intended.

Our original hotel in San Antonio was on the Riverwalk. This did not suit our family’s needs and after reading reviews online, we decided to check into Drury Inn and Suites. Even before check in, we were allowed to view two rooms to get a feel of size (which we was an issue at our first hotel ). Front desk staff was friendly and extremely accommodating. Sarah was great! Room exceeded our expectations. We returned from an outing first night and had an issue with room. Staff was prompt, apologetic and accommodating. Having breakfast and dinner included is amazing. It was exactly what we needed to fuel up before park days. Breakfast was hot (eggs, sausage, waffles) and they had cereal which my kids love. Dinner was good too (pulled pork sliders, chicken and gravy, chili). We didn’t use drink vouchers but I know that is a plus for many. Pool being indoor was great on rainy days but it is a little dark in that area. Will definitely stay again. Didn’t even get to take advantage of the Applebee’s literally connected to the hotel! Next time.
Excellent location and excellent hotel

Excellent in every way. Location is off I-10 and 1604, super easy access to both. This is newer property so everything looked great. Check in by Jalen was courteous, professional, and friendly. We opted for a room on higher floors, got a King with nice views. Room was in excellent shape. Best part is we could not hear anything or anyone, super quiet. Breakfast buffet was hot and convenient. It's free so I'm not complaining! Staff at the dining room were excellent. Parking was super safe as it's inside a garage. Everybody that worked here was super nice and friendly. We stayed at La Cantera resort nearby previously.. and let me tell you, the Drury is much much muuuch better!! Also, there is a trailhead next to the hotel that leads to miles of hiking, walking, biking trails all over San Antonio. This is main reason I selected this location because I used to be a local and frequented these trails. We will definitely be staying here next time when we visit family and friends in the area.
Not a real hotel

I stayed here from a timeshare offer. The room was eh... doable. The mini fridge was the smallest I’ve ever seen. There is no coffee pot! Stayed on the 10th floor. The breakfast was good, but it’s BUSY! It takes 15 minutes sometimes to get from your room to the 1st floor to get coffee or breakfast. They say they have coffee 24/7, but all 3 nights I stayed I had to all them to fill up the pot. The beds were not so great. I felt the springs & my back was sore upon waking.
During a pandemic, I would expect employees to enforce the mask rule posted all over their building. They did not at all. The cleaning staff was obnoxiously loud early in the morning cleaning rooms down the hall and letting doors slam at 8am. I would not choose to stay here again. I left to go to a Holiday Inn Express and it was much better.
