Great stay! Loved the hospitality

The people there are so nice. The lady in the breakfast had really good customer service. The gentleman that checked me in made me feel welcomed. I arrived there around 11pm at night. Check was so fast and accommodating.

Underwhelmed

Avaliou em 31 de maio de 2022

A little underwhelming…parts of it were cool, but overall just ok. I’m not sure what I was expecting but it was more than this. Pros: Atlas V rocket was awesome! Tram tour was easy to board once you have a reservation. Cons: Online tickets I purchased didn’t read. Had to go to the desk. Tram reservations on the app, which are required, weren’t that easy to navigate. And we got there at 1140 and the red tram was already filled for the day. You can only reserve 1 tour at a time unless you go to the service desk and they will book you on a second. Beware if you’re planning on eating there. All the food court shuts down at 2pm, except a snack kiosk with really overpriced chips and stuff.

Clean Hotel with Friendly Staff

This hotel was a quick last minute choice. Close to the boardwalk, nice breakfast, and a clean hotel! the pool area is a bit small but the pool was clean and in the sun! I would stay here again over some other hotels in the area for sure!

Great Find Just Minutes from NASA Space Center and Kemah Boardwalk

Avaliou em 21 de março de 2022

We came to Houston for the sole purpose of visiting the NASA Space Center. I considered many different hotels in the surrounding area. I am so happy I chose this one. The hotel's location is perfect for what we needed. The hotel is located in Seabrook, a quiet residential suburb of Houston. It's less than 5 minutes by car to both the NASA Space Center and Kemah Boardwalk and 30 minutes to Galveston. We didn't check in until 3:30 am after a 7.5 hour flight from Honolulu and a 3 hour drive from Austin. The thing I love about Hampton Inns are how bright and welcoming the entrances look. I was in zombie mode. But the front desk person was so warm and friendly even at that hour. The room was very clean and spacious (King Bed with Sofabed) and perfect for me, my wife and 2 kids. Our room faced the main road and overlooked the water, but we had no noise issues. I thought about staying closer to the Space Center near I-45, but it seemed too busy, loud, and commercial for me. This was a far better option for us even if it's a slightly farther drive from I-45. The free daily breakfast was great. There's the usual continental breakfast offerings, but they also offer made-to-order waffles (including a Texas-shaped waffle iron) and hot items (a breakfast meat and eggs or omelettes). It was the perfect way to start the day. Whenever I plan on returning to the area, I would definitely stay here again.

Not for families

Avaliou em 9 de fevereiro de 2022

Facilities and breakfast were great. Like most hotel stays you know you are going to hear the adult activity noises whenever and we did multiple times but whenever my kids would start moving around we would get a noise complaint or those same people banging on our walls. My kids spent hours in the evening sitting quietly on the bed getting fussed at If they got up. We are talking before 8:30 pm and after 9:30 am. Not during late hours. Our evening plans were canceled due to weather so there was plenty of sitting time. Meanwhile a duly noises are ok mid day and mid night. Families go somewhere else. If I would say anything should change is that noise calls should be done after 9 or later since people may have to work on Sunday morning.
