No geral é bom.
Beautiful Hotel with Excellent Location

My family and I stayed at the Courtyard Seattle Downtown/Lake Union earlier this summer. I was pleasantly surprised by the location of the hotel, which was directly across from Lake Union (including the tram stop to go into downtown), and was within easy walking distance of the Space Needle, as well as a supermarket and various restaurants. The room itself was beautiful, modern, and clean; it was much more upscale than a typical Courtyard. The hotel had plentiful, secure garage parking. Most importantly, the team at the hotel was universally friendly and helpful. I will gladly stay at this hotel the next time I am in Seattle.
Blood on sheets

My wife and I stayed at the Courtyard by Marriot Lake Union on the last weekend of August. In advertises specially trained staff and enhanced cleaning. We arrived late, went to bed, wife notices a stain in the sheets. I tell her to throw a pillow over it and we will check it in the morning. Imagine our horror when we found blood on the sheet, pulled back the sheet and it was all the way through to the mattress pad. Which if course meant the sheets had not been changed. This would be bad enough anytime, but in a pandemic when you advertise enhanced cleaning!!! My wife both developed Covid in the following days. They acknowledged that they had not changed the sheets and they offered to give us a $100 certificate towards "our next stay." Insult to injury. Stay at the Marriot at your own risk. See the pics below.
Great Hotel, Location, and Views!

We really enjoyed this property. We spent a week here on a high floor room overlooking the lake. (I’m still dreaming about the water view)! I greatly enjoyed watching the numerous boats and sea planes coming and going. It really made it 100% worth it to stay here.
While the hotel doesn’t have a pool, the gym is incredible, with lots of free weights, kettle bells, treadmills, and even an area perfect for yoga. Not sure if it was due to Covid, but each time I went, it was empty.
The location is right across the street from the iconic Lake Union, with boating and nautical themed museums and restaurants. Walking distance to many shops and restaurants, as well as kayak rentals, which I greatly enjoyed. Rates do not include breakfast, and prices at the restaurant are pretty high, but the food is decent. The staff are all very friendly and accommodating, but due to Covid- you must ask (in advance) for which day you want housekeeping to do a room refresh. I found it off putting that we were allotted only one “refresh” for a full week stay. I think this is definitely something they could improve on, unless it’s a public health mandate.
But because I’m still dreaming of the water view from the 7th floor- I’d go back in a heartbeat if my travels take me to Seattle again!

We stayed at the Courtyard Seattle Downtown/Lake Union on Saturday, Aug. 7, to Tuesday, Aug. 10, 2021, for a personal trip at the end of several days of travel throughout the area. We selected the hotel for its location in the city, which is convenient to other sites but outside the downtown core. The Marriott website is full of words like "explore," "escape" and "retreat," but I wouldn't use any of those words to describe this experience. After three nights, our experience was just disappointing.
We used a big portion of our accumulated Marriott rewards points for this hotel, and I understand that means we won't get the best room. But when the hotel was obviously not full, it would have been nice to have a view of something aside from construction cranes and a collection of tiny houses for temporary homeless housing, especially when the hotel apparently has wonderful views of the lake. Fortunately, at least that side of the hotel was quiet.
No housekeeping is provided during a stay of less than seven days, something that was not shared until just prior to arrival. The shower drain was so slow that it made the person showering stand in more than an inch of gray water and turn off the water mid-shower for fear of overflowing the basin. When we alerted the front desk to the issue, the staff picked up the radio immediately, but even if someone went to address the problem, it persisted for our stay. The bulk soap in the shower was not full when we arrived and then ran out on the final morning — we had to go down to get a bar of soap from the front desk to finish showering.
The room itself is designed to be comfortable, yet the conditions of the room we experienced made me want to spend as little time there as possible. The air-conditioning unit leaked condensation, making a large wet area on the carpeted floor nearby even as it blasted frigid air when set to 70 degrees. The lack of any housekeeping made the experience less restful and relaxing.
Individually, none of these issues would ruin a hotel stay, but cumulatively, they left a bad impression of this property. Even with current pandemic restrictions and staffing challenges, all of them were avoidable: fix the drain, fill the soap, put loyal customers in the nicest room you have available. And if you're going to keep your rates the same but not going to have a basic service like housekeeping, at least make an effort to acknowledge the inconvenience and difference in experience by offering some other comfort like a couple bottles of water or daily voucher at the pantry.
