Good basic lodging
This is not a full service hotel. Don't come here to be pampered. If you want a clean, well appointed place to rest and sleep while visiting Sitka, this is your place. It's just what we wanted. Spending most of our days out walking and seeing the sites, we just wanted a place to lay our heads down at night. Th room was spacious as hotel rooms go. A barn door separates the bathroom from the rest of the room. Beds were very comfortable ( I have a bad back, so very important). What more can I say. I will stay here whenever I visit Sitka in the future.
Alaska day visit
Great new hotel. Room was spacious and pleasant. Loved the mini kitchen! The staff were friendly. We were centrally located and walked often. Bathroom needs a lock in the barn door. Hooks could be used in bathroom and drain was slow, which we reported There were lots of items in kitchen and bath for use. Found a geocache across the street. Spent time there for Alaska day. Bed was comfy. Room temp great. Lots of friendly people in town/hotel Wifi was spotty Highly recommend
Excellent hotel
This place is fantastic. It’s immaculate, so comfortable, and the staff are very friendly. It’s perfect for walking Sitka, right in town. The WiFi is pretty slow, but I think that may be all over town. I felt safe and clean—which is no small task in so many hotels these days. I would unreservedly recommend the Aspen Suites.
Great short stay!
This is a conveniently located hotel across from the lical fire ststion and 2 coffee shops ideal for breakfast. The hotel offers suites which are large and comfortable but no housekeeping service is offered as they call it an extended stay hotel. All rooms had a kitchenette and a good size bathroom, iron and ironing board. There is a laundry room on the ground floor with washers and dryers, great uf you are doing a lot of travelling! Easy walking distance to the centre of Sitka. Woukd definitely stay again!
Great rooms w/fully equip kitchens!
Very nice new hotel with fully equip kitchens in every room (stovetop, microwave, coffee maker, dishes, pots, pans, cups, etc) large rooms located right by the Westmark. Housekeeping is weekly so keep that in mind if you are used to daily service. Bathrooms are also large and new and clean. Within walking distance of most places downtown.
