I stayed here for the second time and same as the first one I had no recognition for my platinum status, zero courtesy from the staff. The price requested is not worthed at all the overall experience. Rooms are also not as good as tgey should be for such an hotel category

The place looked great. Arrived on a Sunday after long flights and drive from San Francisco and a basic expectation that about room would be ready by 4:30pm check is at 4pm. Not the case, at 6 the room is ready with no apology and the great view you see in the picture l(obviously not in their brochures) would not recommend this place to anyone looking for a getaway good for a quick night stay unfortunately we’re here for four nights. . I asked for an upgrade at my expense but was told rooms were not available due to short staff and rooms not cleaned from The weekend. Well at least I got a room. Good luck.

Great stay at The Lodge

Great stay at The Lodge - despite the unseasonable cold and rainy weather. Erik, at the door, was incredible! He was so welcoming and kind and always had a smile on his face. The hotel was beautiful - we especially loved the in-room fireplace, patio and bikes (though we couldn't use the bikes due to the weather). The hotel's complimentary shuttle picked us up from the Sonoma square one day, which was useful. One suggestion - the hotel needs to add towel racks in the rooms as we had none and there were three of us. Otherwise...I highly recommend The Lodge!

Instagram vs Reality

My husband and I stayed at The Lodge at Sonoma for four days during our most recent trip to the Sonoma/Napa area. The pictures on the website/Instagram make the property look incredibly chic and luxurious. In reality, the hotel was just OK. The hotel is located near what I think must be a farm because Roosters were crowing every morning starting around 5:30AM and didn't seem to stop. The hotel is also located near what looks to be an electrical grid - not a good site to see everyday. In addition, the room was sparsely decorated and there were no hooks in the bathroom for towels. I know this seems like and odd thing to mention but it became really annoying especially if you were trying to save on water and reuse towels! The food at the restaurants was just OK - I wouldn't rush to them at all. My husband who is nowhere near as picky as I am even said to me that he didn't like the hotel and would not stay there again!

FANTASTIC ANNIVERSARY

The staff at Sonoma are top notch! Especially Amanda (Management) and Natalie (Front Desk) and Laura (Concierge). i can honestly say they made our anniversary celebration amazing. Also the staff at Benicia's Kitchen are wonderful. Always smiling and accommodating. LOVED IT!!! Leonard and Mona
