Excellent hotel, modern, clean, very close to Hershey Park

As it title states, this Hampton Inn is 2 minutes from Hershey Park. Very modern and clean and a wonderful breakfast. The hotel clerk greeted me and thanked me for being a "Hampton Inn Gold Member". The hotel clerk was very helpful and customer service oriented. Great service and amenities.

We thoroughly enjoyed our family stay in this hotel, i strongly recommend for others as well, their complimentary breakfast was really good . Equipments in the workout center were in real good conditions

Great option near all Hershey attractions

If visiting Hershey park and traveling with kids, this is a great hotel option. Only a couple minutes away from all the Hershey attractions and there is also an amazing toy store in downtown Hummelstown. There is a mom and pop ice cream place within walking distance across the street. My toddler son enjoyed swimming in the pool and the free breakfast has a good array of the staple breakfast items and coffee. The staff were all very kind and helpful and the price point is very reasonable given all of the above. The main downsides are there are lots of families and traveling sports teams etc so expect a lot of noise and door slamming late into the night (not really a fault of the hotel but go expecting this to be a possibility). Also, the rooms are comfy and have all the basics but could be a little cleaner. I would definitely stay here again when returning to Hershey park.

Card reader on the credit card machine

I tried to purchase snacks from the shop and did not have cash. I gave them 3 cards that were all declined on the credit card machine. The front desk took my first card and ran it on their side of the desk and it worked. The next day I noticed 2 unauthorized Uber charges from one of the cards I tried to use but kept declining. There was a card reader in the machine and my cc number was stolen. Manager has not called me back as of yet.

This hotel is in a great location very close to Hershey Park and easy to get from place to place. The staff was not very attentive or welcoming. However our biggest complaint was the fact that the pull out couch was filled with crumbs, including dirty bed linens inside the couch. When we told the staff we were given sheets to change the bed. The bathroom could use some repair due to obvious water damage to the walls and ceiling. Breakfast was good and had many options.
