This is a great place to stay in St Pete’s. The hotel is spotless and rooms are gorgeous. BFast was very good and the man in charge of it was nice to all. All staff were so nice and helpful. What a great well run establishment. We could not have been better served

This is a good location on Central ave. Close to great restaurants and bars. Hotel is very modern. I believe it appeals to millennials. Small/pricey room. No dressers or closets. A table with shelves for clothes,and hooks on the wall for hanging things. Lots of charging areas, a small desk area. Large tv. Also is dog friendly, so I believe that's a draw. Breakfast was ok. Sone scrambled eggs, oatmeal, pancakes, bagels..etc. I don't feel like you get much for the cost. Location is the biggest factor.

We live in downtown Clearwater and wanted to celebrate my birthday close so decided on downtown St Petersburg. I chose Tru for the location within walking distance of the fun bars and restaurants. Dillon's friendly welcome at checkin was a great start to a fun weekend.

Tru's staff was the best. They were sympathetic to my concerns and graciously honored my request to see a room before checking in. I had a terrible experience at another hotel prior to checking in to Tru by Hilton so I wanted to be sure the room was suitable for my family, especially with a 1 year old. All staff at Tru were very friendly and accommodating. They even delivered milk to my room for my grandbaby. All of my future hotel stays will be with Hilton.

Overall, very happy with this location... simple, basic, perfect! Check-in was easy and we were able to get our room when we arrived at check-in time. Very clean and family friendly. The room was basic, bed was very comfortable, shower pressure great (but shower floor a little slippery), towels and pillows were ok, but there were usb ports EVERYWHERE which was awesome! View from our room was of the highway, which was blah.... but fifth floor terrace has great potential, especially during summer months! Perfect distance to some great restaurants and Tropicana Field, so we will most definitely be back! Our only negative comment would be regarding valet... not efficient or friendly, especially for the parking cost but got the job done... Front desk receptionist was nice, so made welcoming a bit better!
