Worst night EVER

The walls are paper thin which is not so much of my complaint. There was a couple 3 or 4 doors down from us. They were fighting, the woman kept screaming that I thought she had a baby in the room. Finally after hours the police came and did absolutely nothing. But what I did not understand is why did nobody that worked in this hotel go to check on her or make them stop for the sake of the others checked into this hotel that wanted a good night sleep. The cops came again in the am where you can tell they were extremely intoxicated, she was saying the police even manhandled her, once again…. No one did anything. So other than not being able to sleep all night I paid $150 to do so. I will NEVER stay at this hotel again.

This place is pretty good, but it's getting worn out. In our room, the furniture was beat up, the carpet was threadbare, and the shower door wouldn't stay closed. But we paid less than $75 for the night, and it's much better than other hotels at that price.

Hotel very nice but...no refrigerator, no microwave, no continental breakfast, beds needed running boards as they were way too high for us seniors. STaff was very nice though. At least it was close to the casino.
Disappointed in El Paso (even though it’s really in New Mexico)

This newer (3 years old) hotel was a serious disappointment. It’s single staffed, they don’t answer calls to the front desk (leave a voice mail—but they don’t call back), there’s no pool or breakfast (my fault for not checking but what hotel doesn’t have a pool these days? And it’s part of the Choice Hotels group and they all offer breakfast, in my experience), no room service as advertised, and the walls are paper thin (our bedtime entertainment was a helicopter buzzing the hotel for 30 minutes and we were greeted in the morning by an overly exuberant toddler next door and an interesting conversation that filtered into the bathroom from the room on the other side). It’s next to a tiny casino and in the middle of a giant parking lot overlooking a rail yard and freeway in one direction and an ancient midway-type amusement park in the other. The casino had a small coffee shop with mundane fare and you have to drive several miles to get to a restaurant. Room seemed very clean and the beds (which are really high off the floor) were comfortable. There’s no refrigerator in the room but they’ll store items in the office fridge downstairs). The toilet seat kept dislodging the top of the toilet tank. If you’re looking for a clean room for a short night’s stay and bring earplugs you should be fine.
Cost vs Quality Do Not Match

Cost versus quality do not match. Staff was nice, hotel appearance outside and inside nice. Sheets on bed were rough and not comfortable at all. WiFi inside room/building was 1 single bar. How do you get only one bar inside your own hotel? Faster and better service to use my phone carrier than hotel. For a 3.5 star hotel, you’d think they would at least have a mini fridge in rooms but not here. There are ice machines on 2 of the 4 floors if you need to keep stuff cool.
