A couple of nights here and most enjoyable. Accommodating hosts with lovely rooms which were nice and warm on cool nights at the start of winter. Breakfast was included which was filling and hot (not a fan of bacon cooked in a press though) and set you off for a good start to the day. Can walk to pretty much any of the food places in town and only a stroll across the road to the beach and jetty with fantastic views. Would definitely stay there again.

We appreciated Karen ( host ) taking us in at short notice due to our original place booked having temporarily closed due to a covid issue. Easy to find this place as is on main road into town and close to cafes/restaurants/shops. Our room was 'cosy' but had all the basics we needed, also had a small balcony with a table and 2 chairs and you had a lovely view over the water. Slept in a comfortable bed and in the morning enjoyed a good breakfast in a sunlit alcove area. We had fruit, and then a cooked breakfast - eggs, bacon, tomatoes, also toast& jam, orange juice and plunger coffee. Good position to stay as easy day trip drive to Freycinet National Park and Coles Bay.

We loved our 2 night stay! The owners went out of their way to inform us of local attractions and things to see. They were very helpful. Our room had a water view. Everything we needed was provided, little touches like a night light for the bathroom and charging connections for our phones on one of the power points. The breakfast was great, everything you wanted was available, we had the “English” breakfast and even tried the tasty haggis and black pudding extras. The homemade bread was delicious.

We only stayed one night at Freycinet Waters on our way to Hobart. We found the hosts to be very friendly and provided lots of useful information about the area. Our room was lovely which comprised of the bedroom with a door off onto a small balcony (which is not that private) but stilll a lovely sun spot. There is also a small tv nook that has a tv and small two seater sofa -could do with a small foot stool but nice anyway. The ensuite is on the small side but it has what is needed with a good hot shower. A nice touch with a small bottle of port provided. The bed was so comfy! There is a library of dvds on offer if you want to stay in. Breakfast was made to order and served in a room that has a view of the water. The car park was on the tight side if you have a larger vehicle.

This is a picture-perfect B&B with hosts offering top class hospitality. Our room was spotlessly clean and comfortable. Although small, every space had been used to best effect and there were little extras which made it special (such as a complimentary port for after dinner). We were made to feel welcome on our arrival with helpful information about the area and eating options. Breakfast was magnificent (both the meal and views from the little dining room) and the hosts were happy to provide gluten free toast. Sadly we left in the rain so couldn’t properly enjoy the lovely views that we arrived in, but we definitely hope to return soon!
