First class accomodation

First class accommodation
We arrived at the accommodation and were welcomed by Andrea. We were taken to our room and showed how to use boiler, cooker etc.
The room was large, spacious and spotlessly clean and very welcoming. There were some lively little welcoming touches, tea and coffee and other beverages were available plus those little extras, fresh milk, orange juice and bottles of water in the fridge. Andrea has a wealth of local knowledge and is more than happy to assist in planning your day trips. We didn’t use our car at all as the bust stop is just 50m from the accommodation and offers a day hop on hop off day ticket for £5 each, the bus was every 10 minutes, we used the bus to go to Brixham /Paignton and hassle free as we didn’t have to worry about finding a car park.
Torquay sea front is a 15 minute walk from Appletorre and the harbour is a 25 minute walk.
If you do intend eating out it is well worth booking in advance, we seem so many walk in customers turned away..Appletorre ticked every box for a carefree enjoyable stay and we would definitely recommend it.. our thanks to Andrea and staff..
Beautiful Studio Apartment

Beautiful studio apartment, furnished to a very high standard, with everything you could possibly need for a self catering holiday, and more.
Greeted by the owner, Andrea, and shown around the apartment, which was a lovely, personal touch, as was the welcome tray of tea, coffee, biscuits and mints, plus the milk, orange juice and water in the fridge. Thank you - it was much appreciated.
Lots of other little extras too, which are often not provided in self catering accommodation, like foil, kitchen roll, salt, pepper, cooking oil, washing up liquid, shampoo, shower gel etc.
WiFi worked well and the bed was super comfortable!
Set in a beautiful communal garden for guests use, plus our apartment (flat 9) had it's own private patio area too.
There is a small car park, with a space for a car per apartment, I believe, which is a bonus in Torquay.
We were only here for 2 nights, but as regular visitors to Torquay, we will definitely be back to stay in this unique and lovely holiday home.
Great little appartment

Stayed in one of these apartments for a few days last summer, the apartment was spotless, very well equipped and Angela was a lovely, welcoming host, even inviting us in to her flat to give us the intro and guide to the area.
The flats are in a nice quiet street but the surrounding area isn't as nice and a bit rough. It's a good walk down into town, uphill on the way back so not suitable for all, although there were good transport links nearby.
Whilst the flat was very clean there were no visible Covid provisions, no sanitizer or wipes etc.
Quiet, spotless, friendly.

These flats are very well equipped, very comfortable and immaculately kept.
Andrea was very friendly & helpful, happy to help me manoeuvre my huge car into the busy car park!
It was so quiet overnight , all I heard was an owl 🤭
Fantastic place to stay

We just had 4 nights at Appletorre House, we had a lovely welcome from Andrea and Terri, and they gave us so much useful information. The apartment was excellent with everything you need for a holiday, including the best welcome pack we have had anywhere! As the weather was lovely we were able to spent three early evenings in the supper garden having a glass of wine! The excellent bus service about 100 meters away to go as far as Brixham in one direction and Newton Abbot in the other was every 10 minutes and on time. We would certainly recommend staying there and will certainly stay again ourselves.
