Clean, well-located, inexpensive option in TGZ

The hotel was easy to find, and in a great location, right near Marimba park. The rooms were clean and spacious and the beds were comfy. The shower was great. The staff were wonderful. My main complaints are that the hotel is very echoey (tile floors), therefore can get loud. There was also some kind of construction happening behind, so I didn't have a need for an alarm clock. ;) Breakfast was skippable (or at least the VERY salty eggs were) but I would stay here again if I ever return to Tuxtla.
Dark rooms, “cleanish”, bad service, careful if you have a dog

We stayed here on our way to Chiapa de Corzo and among its best qualities is it’s location. It’s two blocks from the kiosk square and the marimba museum. We picked this place because it looked clean, modern, had parking, and accepted dogs. When we arrived we were told the parking is on a first come first serve, and had to park on the street. The rooms are dark, you can’t really open the curtains to let the light in. Bathroom shower water stank, and was not well kept (broken handles). Mattresses have plastic below, so expect a crinkly sound when you sleep, and cleanliness is okish. Breakfast included was ok, but limited. They only offer regular coffee, lemonade and decent eggs, no juice, no fruit (which for Mexico, is near to outrageous). Last, when we arrived we told the fee for the dog was a third of the price of the king size bedroom we had taken. They brought it down but said it could only be paid by cash. The lady in the morning eventually let us pay by card.
Nice small hotel, helpful staff, great location, not-great value

I paid about 600 pesos per night for a plain room (mostly bare walls) with a too-soft bed. The bathroom was nice and the rain-type shower was heavenly. The staff were mostly friendly and helpful -- though, if you don't speak some Spanish, I think that only one of them speaks some English.
The breakfast at the restaurant next door was excellent: different each of the two days I was there, good service, nice decor.
Even with all of the pluses, I felt that I should have paid less.
An Excellent Choice in City Center

For a short visit to the city, This choice was made based on location, pricing and reviews. An excellent choice and good value.
First impression was good at the front desk with efficient polite service. Our room was on the 4th floor and this hotel has something rare in Mexico for a small hotel-- an elevator. And a very well maintained and sparkling clean elevator.
The rooms are very pleasant. Good quality and comfortable mattresses and bedding.
Top quality mini split air conditioner and TV with good channel selection. Bathroom clean and well-maintained with good hot water supply.
A good experience. And for a budget Hotel, excellent maintenance and totally clean.

The room was very big, the bathroom was clean, the bed was comfy and comfortable, breakfast was just "OK" typical mexican food, clean and spicy. Staff was kind. The parking lot is next to the Hotel, this is small but enough.
