Amazing calm hotel with fantastic view

This newly built hotel was fantastic with a breathtaking view, spotless service and amazing creative food. An homage to the staff who put out e beginning wildfire and still working on service. Luckily it went well. The pool area is just fantastic. Incredible calm & relaxing.

Excellent hotel with a view in Vauvenargues

Excellent small hotel in the heart of Provence situated 30minutes from Aix en Provence. Wonderful views of the Mont Sainte Victoire from the terrace. Very helpful and friendly staff. Service was discrete and attentive. The hotel offers different room configurations but all overlook the Mont Sainte Victoire and the resting place if Picasso. The family chateau is not open to the public unfortunately. The room we stayed in was well equipped with a modern ensuite bathroom and Italian shower. The bed was extremely comfortable. The hotel offers an outdoor pool also overlooking the mountain. The restaurant features a franco-bresilien menu with a vegan and childrens option. The flavourrs and originality of the dishes makes it a must. The breakfast was excellent and the food is made to order arriving quite rapidly. We spent 1 night there but will definitely going back.

The location is fantastic. Small, peaceful village with only a short drive into Aix (15-20 minutes). The rooms are modern and spacious enough, but not big. Bed is comfortable. Great views of the Mont Sainte-Victoire, and the pool. The pool is delightful and much bigger than the impression given by the photos. In any case, we stayed five nights while the hotel was full and the pool was never crowded. Only slight niggle is that the pool terrace gets very hot underfoot. Breakfast is fresh and excellent. I would have given the hotel the top rating based on the above. My one watchpoint is that smoking is permitted at the pool area and in the restaurant area. This did impact our enjoyment of both and does seem a bit old-fashioned. Otherwise, great place.

Fabulous hotel! Breathtaking view from lovely room balcony onto 1) Sainte-Victoire mountain, 2) Picasso’s mansion - Château de Vauvenargues, 3) gorgeous pool, and 4) superb terrace bar and restaurant. Staff caring and kind. Food and drinks delicious. Beautiful decoration, and thoughtful, clear, clear rooms and bathrooms. YES! Total luxury and relaxation!

We discovered this hotel in beautiful nature around 15 km from Aix-en-Province. I highly recommend it. It was opened around a month ago and we loved it. - the rooms are great, modern, well planed and with beautiful color tones. If you can, try to get one with a balcony. All rooms have Mountain View on Sainte Victoire. Beautiful ! the view is amazing. - the restaurant is top. It has a French - Brazilian influence , with good diverse choices and excellent service. Option to sit inside or outside. Outside you have the best view of the fabulous Picasso Castle, apparently the place where he worked a lot and where he is buried together with his last wife. The chef is a young Brazilian chef from Mandarin Oriental background ; just great ! - I just love the enthusiastic, young, talented staff. You feel they are highly motivated and will make your stay so pleasant. - beautiful pool ! - Aix-en-Province is at 15 minutes by car and it is definitely one of the most beautiful cities in France. Great nature walking from the hotel. It is rare to “discover” a new hotel which is really outstanding and makes you feel home immediately and with such a young and talented staff. And I also loved the art pieces in the rooms and all over in the hotel! Everything is so tasteful in the detail. Such a great energy in this new hotel ! We will be back.
