Apologies if this review runs long. Recently stayed in a Lakeview terrace room for a few days. The room (and bathroom) was spacious, clean and had a lovely porch where we spent time relaxing and enjoying the view of the lake. Would have been nice to have two chaise lounges rather than one and a chair. The eaves (on our porch and around the property) needed to be swept to remove webs which is a typical trait of a lakeside property.
I understand the policy of no daily housekeeping. Probably due to staffing or COVID restrictions. In fact, I'm okay with not having the daily interruption. You can request fresh supplies (towels and/or toiletries) by calling the front desk.
The lakefront is nice and kept clean. The lake is relatively shallow making it good for families with kids. Free amenities like usage of bikes, canoes, kayaks and paddle boards as well as pool cues and ping pong paddles is nice. Small fees for staff to take you out on the motorboat or the pontoon boat.
A breakfast buffet is served in the dining room. Typical offerings - eggs, meats, cereal, fruit, pastries. A good diner is not far from the resort which offers a more varied menu. Coffee / tea is offered in the lobby each morning. Lunch is available at the golf course club house across the parking lot. Options are limited and expensive but can be ordered to go. If you get a room with a refrigerator, there is a small grocery store nearby where you could pick up food / supplies. Dinner is served in the dining room. Reservations required. After two nights of eating there, we needed a change from the menu and found two good options up the road in Bradford. Service was good - Lori D. took good care of us each time we dined there.
Indoor pool was clean and a nice option to the lake.
Generally enjoyed our stay. In fact, we will likely be back for winter activities. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The property is well landscaped, however, some preventive maintenance (web removal) would enhance the environment. Guests ranged from families with children and teens to older / retired couples, like us. Many seemed to be returning guests. I understand why - it's a nice resort in a beautiful location. Recommend a stay.
Wonderful Stay (Early Summer Golf)

Apologies in advance for the length.
Caveat: I have a bias because I love this place.
The grounds in June are just beautiful, and the landscaping, both on the grounds and on the golf course, is wonderful and well kept.
Our group of golfers has been making this trip for a few years now, so can only speak to the warm weather experience.
Our travel group:
Number from 4-8; retired age group
Each person takes their own room
We come from multiple states
Typically stay 2-3 nights and play 3-4 rounds of golf
If the weather cooperates we also enjoy the lake after golf.
Recently returned from another successful trip, these are my impressions.
Stayed in a hotel room; cannot speak to the cottage accommodations.
Not a new building, clearly, but well kept, clean and perfectly fine. There is an elevator, but if you have mobility issues, I would suggest discussing room location when booking for your convenience.
Beds very comfortable and linens are good.
Air conditioned (modern hotel wall unit, not central air). If between seasons, the casement windows are screened and do open.
In room refrigerators are available on request.
TV, clock radio, ironing board, iron, hairdryer, standard toiletries and extra pillows provided.
I do not think the hotel was full, but there was plenty of hot water when needed.
There is not a room safe, but I have never found this to be an issue.
Housekeeping staff very accommodating and responsive if you need anything.
Coffee station on the main floor, near the front desk.
Coke & bottled water vending machine in the same area, as well as an ice machine.
Small gift shop with drinks and basic snacks and drug items.
Our rate included breakfast and dinner.
All tables in the dining room have tablecloths and cloth napkins.
The dining room is on the lower level and looks out onto the lake. In good weather, outdoor dining is available.
Served in the dining room. (Breakfast sandwiches also available in the snack bar, see Lunch section.)
This year was a buffet every day. It is an OK buffet, covers most requirements hot and cold. Opens early if you have big plans for the day.
Scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage and either French toast or pancakes. Real maple syrup!
Cold cereal, instant oatmeal, yogurt, fruit, juice, and milk.
Various breads which can be toasted.
Butter and cream cheese.
Coffee, tea and iced water served to the table by waitstaff who are very attentive.
No lunch is served in the dining room, but is available in the casual dining area attached to the pro shop.
Breakfast sandwiches also available if you don’t have time for the dining room. Coffee available.
Decent lunch menu, food is good and servings are generous.
Online order and pickup available.
Soda, water, cold tea, energy drinks, and beer, wine and spirits available for purchase.
Water fountain with bottle filler.
Cash, credit, debit or room charge.
Staff is flexible with custom options, line cook is efficient and friendly.
Dinners were amazing. Served meals from a menu.
Each night’s menu included a soup or choice of two appetizers; a basic garden salad; a choice of entree which included vegetable sides, and a choice of dessert and coffee and tea.
Entree options included fish, meat, and vegetarian
A good serving pace, everything arrived hot.
A good variety, cooked well, creatively, and I can definitely say everything we ordered was very very good. I cannot say enough about the quality of the dinners.
Iced water on the table; drinks (alcoholic and non) available for purchase (can be charged to your room) and served by waitstaff.
Bartender is skilled and friendly.
Waitstaff is knowledge about the menu, friendly, responsive, and will gladly provide a “to go” container if you cannot finish your meal.
The lake of course, which is gorgeous. Kayaks, canoes, swimming, etc.
Our schedule did not really allow us to take advantage of the indoor pool, bikes, or other things on offer.
Unlimited golf was included in our rate.
Suggest you make tee times when you make your reservations.
Additional charge of $20 per person per day for motor cart.
If you are staying/playing multiple days, you can leave your clubs overnight (indoors) on the cart, and the staff will pull them out for you the next morning. Clubs were wiped down but only if I remembered to ask, so I learned to ask. (This should be automatic.)
The course is in good shape, we found a few of the holes quite challenging.
New England course for sure; some holes are hilly, some lies are side lies, lots of trees that eat golf balls, but it is a fun course to play and beautiful to look at. Pay attention to the signage or you may wind up on the wrong hole!
Pro Shop staff is friendly, accommodating, professional and good at their jobs.
Starter keeps things moving.
I am sure you have sensed my theme-Lake Morey excels in this category.
Front desk, maintenance, housekeeping, restaurants/chef/cooks/waitstaff, bar, waterfront staff, golf support staff, pro shop-everyone we dealt with was responsive, experienced, friendly, professional, efficient and ready to make your stay better in any way they can.
The staff are the jewels of this place and I certainly hope management knows this.
