Wonderful stay!
My friend and I stayed for 2 nights in October and had a wonderful stay! The place was quiet (due in part to Covid, no doubt), located a short drive from Llanes. The location was perfect as we could walk to the coast to watch the bufones and yet were still close enough to town to take advantage of the shops and restaurants. We also ate in the restaurant (good selection of options) and took advantage of the large terrace outside. The best part was the incredibly friendly staff who went out of their way to make sure we had an enjoyable stay. The rooms and all common areas were spotless and the staff wore masks etc. I had been nervous about travelling in times of Covid but the country location and attentiveness of the staff meant there was no reason to worry! I couldn't recommend this place enough! Gracias a todos!
AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!
Overall my experience with the staff of this hotel is beyond satisfactory! Upon arrival we were 5 hours early and were expecting to wait till check-in time. The ladies at the hotel did not speak English but instead contacted the head receptionist who at the time had left for an emergency. I spoke to her on the phone and she let the ladies know that we could check in early. They helped us to our rooms and allowed us to get accommodated. Once the receptionist arrived she provided me with my own room refrigerator to keep my food in as I am diagnosed with celiac and carry my own gluten free foods. Not only that but the receptionist and kitchen staff provided me with gluten free dinners and breakfasts always asking me if I can consume a certain food. Honestly I and my family truly felt cared for and I thank the hotel staff for that!! Exceptional service and I recommend this hotel to all those interested in Northern Spain Asturias!! Thank You THANK YOU!
Just the ticket!
Six of us stayed here overnight on a motorcycling trip to Spain, and it was by far the best hotel of the week - staff were very friendly and helpful, despite our Spanish being limited to 'dos grande cervesas por favor' and 'Jorge Lorenzo'; restaurant staff were friendly and fun and the food was fabulous and very reasonably priced. They even opened the cafe early the following morning so we could have a coffee before we left. Highly recommended.
A lovely family run hotel
We called in at this hotel for lunch in 2012 and were so impressed that we decided to stop there this year for a few nights on our way to Galicia. It is run by a lovely family who all work in the hotel. They are very kind and welcoming, making this a comfortable and happy place to stay. The rooms are light, airy and spotlessly clean. There is a tremendous amount of effort made to ensure that visitors get the most out of their stay, with information about all the local attractions, places to visit, walks and maps. Montse speaks very good English and is exceptionally helpful. The food is delicious and is all cooked using local ingredients. We had a number of renowned local specialities including goat, fabada and tortilla - all exceptionally good. This hotel is great both to stop off at on route to the West or as a destination in itself because it is very well located. We were able to explore the Picos de Europa, the cave paintings at Ribadesella as well as the lovely beaches all along this stretch of coast. We have stayed at many hotels in Spain and this is our favourite. We had no problems booking in either.
Great place to eat
We travel from Santander to Portugal several times a year and this is a very convenient stop for a delicous lunch. We were considering staying the night here in early September 2013( as we arrive late in the evening at santander) and had a look at the options on booking.com. We were really shocked to see that the only option on booking.com was a pre payment option..for 11 months ahead! Is anyone going to pay out in advance so far ahead anywhere..let alone Spain? We will review the situation nearer the time as the food is excellent and the rooms look modern and thay have WIFI and free parking.
