This is absolutely the best stay I/we have ever had in a hotel! Clean. Comfortable. Staff was fantastic! And even had a comedian that cooks your breakfast! Make sure you're up in time to meet him! Needed two rooms next to each other, very accommodating

Staff, room and breakfast exceeded my expectations. This was the first hotel that offered an extensive breakfast options and comfortable seating arrangements. I have and will continue to make our stop at BW especially because we have dogs. They too enjoyed the extra place for them to walk around.

A lot to be desired

The location is good for our travels up and down Rt 95 but we might look for another hotel for our trips. Room is small but clean. Mattress was okay. However, the water barely trickled out at the sink and I actually washed my hands using the bathtub faucet. Brushing teeth was a chore. The sheets and towels are threadbare. The tv was all messed up. We finally got it turned on with very little sound but had to unplug it to get it off. The ‘saving grace’ is that the people there are so nice! Breakfast was typical, nothing special. And I told them at checkout about the tv and water problem and they said they would get it fixed. We do like the location because of the ease of going into Walterboro for dinner at Carmine’s!

Clean place to stay, but had bedbug

I needed a warm, clean, affordable place to stay for a weekend - and this worked. However, I woke up on my last morning and while sitting in the bed reading on my phone, a bedbug crawled out of the sheets. I squished the fellow, and he was full of blood. I only saw one and wasn't bitten all over, but had to strip down and put everything in the dryer on high heat when I got home. I also threw out my suitcase. Staff indicated they were going to shut the room (105) down, or take it out of service.

Staff was exceptional. Breakfast was good. Easy check in and rooms were nice and clean. Wi-Fi was the best I’ve had at any hotel I’ve stayed in. I would not hesitate to book again when I’m back in the area.
