Nice hotel surrounded by homeless population.
Avaliou em 30 de dezembro de 2022
The hotel staff were certainly very friendly and helpful. Excellent check-in service. The room was very clean and the king bed was very comfortable. We stayed for 6 nights. We had to request room cleaning every other day. The breakfast is always the same (scrambled eggs, bacon or link sausage, boiled eggs, cold cereal, pastries, waffles, etc.). We thought the breakfast service was nice - not exceptional. The indoor pool was nice and warm. The pictures suggested a hot tub but there is no hot tub. The greatest concern we had was with the large number of homeless people camping in the park directly behind the hotel. One strange observance was a man walking into the hotel with a cardboard sign stating "Merry Christmas, Good Bless, Anything Helps) and with two 12 packs of beer. We believe he was actually staying the night at the hotel. Our apartment was on the top third floor, where I was awaken at 2 AM by people walking in the hall. We are not sure of the level of security at this hotel, and our car was not disturbed. We have charitable hearts for the homeless, but because we did not observe the hotel providing sufficient security, we probably will not stay at this hotel again. We are a retired couple who travel frequently.

Unsafe, Dirty, Homeless

This was a terrible place stay, homeless gathered around the door and wouldn’t leave, beds were uncomfortable breakfast was not good, eggs and sausage tasteless, coffee was good. Cleaning only 1 day out of 4 was unacceptable for price we paid with 3 people in the room.

Clean rooms but hotel is understaffed
Avaliou em 3 de setembro de 2022
My group of 4 stayed in 2 rooms. Our rooms and bathroom were clean, and the beds were comfortable. The coffee pot, was so filthy it was unusable. We had an issue getting our room keys upon check in. He gave me only one room key although I had reserved 2. When I asked him about the 2nd room key he proceeded to help the long line of people that came in after me first. Apparently the person working the front desk was all alone so it took quite a while. He was answering the phone, waiting on a line of 6 people, and I heard him tell a guest that there was no cleaning staff working. He was the only employee currently there. This was obvious as we went down the hall to our room. Mountains of trash and dirty linens were piled up outside most of the doors. I think the lone staff member was doing his best to keep up, but it was chaotic. I will not stay at this location again.

Construction, stains, and poor food options take away from a below average experience

This hotel is overrated. This was stay 2 on a trip across the country and it was the worst of the 3 places I stayed (and most expensive). The person at the front desk was apparently overworked because he was on the phone talking as he checked me in. There was construction on the first floor occurring. Not sure what they were doing. The room was an average room with the typical clean linens on the bed and in the bathroom. The rest of the room showed a lack of attention to detail, from dirt and dust in the corners to dated and stained carpeting and other fixtures. See the pictures for the carpet stains, wall marking, and brown stains on the shower. The hotel is located right off the highway. There was a large contingent of people without personal accommodations living in and around the park getting some help from an individual who was passing out items for them to use. This is not a problem of the Comfort Inn, per se, but of society. The two hotels have put up iron fencing to define their property. It seemed safe enough in the afternoon to walk under the highway to a nearby bar and grill for dinner, so I did. Other then junk laying around, it was fine. The food was the standard cold cereal, waffle, toast/bad bagels, bad apples options with a hot option for scrambled eggs. They had the consistency of mush or oatmeal and were a preprocessed, undercooked blob. The sausages were so distasteful looking I did not try them. In summary, I spent too much time on this review relative tor the effort it appears they put in to maintaining the property. Find another place to stay,

Comfy and great breakfast

We stayed here last night with our adult children and their plus ones. The hotel is 30 minutes west of DEN and right off I-70. Our flight did not get in until 11:30 PM, so we arrived quite late. Arrival and check-in were seamless. Rooms very nice, with sink outside toilet and shower room - very convenient when sharing with another couple. Beds were VERY comfortable, temp easy to regulate, blackout curtains allowed us to sleep in, fridge and microwave, coffee in lobby. Breakfast was the usual waffles, yogurt, dry cereal, muffins with the added bonus of beautiful bakery bread sliced thick, scrambled eggs cooked perfectly and very tasty sausage!! I don't usually eat a lot for breakfast but did not resist. Coffee is Colombian and quite good, too. This is a keeper.
