Partially renovated. Strong odor of cleaner but floor wasn't swept. Moldy shower. Feeling duped by internet reviews that didn't mention the gross factor.
TA wants more words? Small tv, just makes it feel old. Same for red bedspreads. Pillows are teeny tiny. Sheets do seem clean and we're tired so here we stay for one night only.

We stayed two nights at this hotel for a business trip. The hotel arrangements were made by the company who hired us. We were given a room across from the swimming pool where shrieking children could be heard well past the 10 pm posted time limit. The rooms are not equipped with coffee pots, hotel phones, drinking cups or warm blankets. The thin blanket was placed in between two sheets in an attempt to hide how scratchy they were. Apparently they spent their money on more important items like a throw pillow and coverlet that advertised the OYO brand. We will never stay here again.

The bedding leaves much to be desired for. In lieu of a comforter, they have opted to use two sheets with a weird, felt layer in between. The pillows are small and square like throw pillows. The mattress is comfortable though. The TV in my room didn't work. However, the room was clean and the hot tub was in working order! This was a decent night stay for the price.
Fragrance free stay

This hotel is located right off the interstate with easy access. They are 100% smoke free, which is awesome for people who are incredibly sensitive to smells like myself. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and seemed to be newly remodeled (the rest of the hotel could use some TLC as some of the door handle covers were coming loose.) The staff was very kind, courteous and helpful. We needed to switch rooms after checking in due to the heater giving off a hot smell - the staff was very kind and accommodating to our request. Added bonus, if you book through Priceline or Expedia, you may be able to get a very good deal as we stayed for around $50 and under a night using those websites.
The Old Days Inn

Ok if you want a cheap place to stay. Under the new management (OYO) it is painfully obvious they have lost a lot of business. In the days of the Days Inn ownership, this was a very nice place to stay for a few days. the continental breakfast room with TV was a nice way to start the day with a cup of coffee and news, that alone was well worth the few extra bucks, however, they closed that down, I guess to save a few dollars. If you may be thinking you can watch the news in your room. guess again, they also removed the coffee pots in the rooms. If you are a person that looks for a little extra in a hotel, this is not the place for you. However if cheap is what you're after and don't mind hitting the convenience store on your way out, look no further you found it here.
