Is a place to stay no matter the situation and challenges

They maintain their standard. It always give me joy staying at your property. The cleanliness, friendly staff, spacious rooms with very neat and hygienic condition. Despite the challenges of covid19 they were able to serve their guests fantastic breakfast. Taking into account the covid19 pandemic they put all measures and facilities to fight the pandemic.

We normally stay at Hilton brands but chose this property for the location and the near-perfect online reviews. Our experience was mediocre and did not live up to the exceptional online reviews. Room- We paid around $20 extra for a suite and forgot that a HIE Suite is actually a compressed standard guest room with loveseat. The living space was nice but was mostly gained by pushing the bed against the wall. The room smelled like a locker room and there was a lot of wear and tear, including wall stains and mold spots in the shower. The hard floor in the entry did not appear clean. Amenities and public areas- the hotel has a very sterile feel both in decor and furnishings, almost like a hospital. Things like dirty drip trays on the hand sanitizer are not a big deal, but aren’t what I’d expect from such a highly rated hotel. The gym and pool are unusually spacious and well appointed however, and felt equivalent in quality to a 4 star hotel. Breakfast- we were happy with the selection and the service. It has more options than one would expect and everything was kept full. Service- staff were very kind but every time I needed something from the front desk, the attendant was either in the back or doing something complicated on the computer. It was frustrating that our cards didn’t work upon arrival even though I checked in through the app. Overall the little things added up and I expected more. For us the hotel was fine, but not as perfect as the ratings suggest.

Clean Modern Hotel

Nice clean modern hotel. Close to restaurants. Great amenities: pool, hot tub, fitness room, patio, and washer/dryer. The room was clean and spacious. The only issue I saw was what appeared to be water damage near the window. There was also very weak/low water pressure making it difficult to rinse the shampoo/soap off. Be aware that there is no hot breakfast. There is what they call grab and go which consists of a granola bar, poptart, muffin, and fruit cup. Overall it was a great hotel.

Comfortable room, but

It's been a year now since we were able to stay here on our way back east. We have found things to be generally the same. The main floors of the hotel are well taken care of however our room was showing definite signs of wear and tear. The window in the room showed much evidence of water damage. The wallpaper on the window seal was ripped and torn apart. The caulking in the bathroom was very aged and starting to peel and had a lot of yellowing due to what I would consider lack of cleaning. When I took a shower hair conditioner was out an empty. And it appears that the shower gel had not been used because it took several pumps for it to start. All in all the room is very well apointed as one would expect but i was definitely disappointed with a condition. Also I was disappointed with the morning breakfast service. No hot service was available they had prepared bags which had a real small muffin a single Pop-Tart a very small fiber bar and a small cup of pineapple pieces. The bag did not even include a spoon. With this being said I'm not sure we will stop on our way back home.

I arrived on 4/23 around 5:30 in the evening. I was greeted happily by a young man named Michael at the front desk. He cheerily checked me in and also thanked me for being an IHG rewards member. He handed me my keys and gave me the quick 30 second speech about wifi access etc. I got into the elevator and could immediately smell gasoline or diesel exhaust. I noted it and made my way to the 4th floor where it smelled just as awful there. I entered my room and the smell was gone - thankfully! After a quick check that everything was in order and the room was clean I went back down to grad dinner with my family. I told Michael that the room was nice and then explained the smells in the elevator and on the 4th floor. He immediately apologized and explained that someone had "spilled gasoline in the garage" and that he had the doors open to air things out a bit. I told him that the smell hadn't reached my room and I told him that I'd need to move if it did. He completely understood and told me to keep him posted. We returned from dinner an hour or so later and the smell was almost completely gone. It was totally gone the next morning. Speaking of morning, we were offered the normal grab-bag of food which included a muffin and some other stuff. We have a peanut allergy in the family and couldn't eat one of the muffin flavors provided. My wife made a quick run back to the front desk and Michael gladly hooked us up with flavors that were peanut safe. You can't ask for more than that! The room was great. Clean and updated. The staff was amazing. Michael really made me feel like this property appreciated my IHG Elite status and I was pleased for the duration of my stay. We will definitely stay here again if the opportunity arises. Thanks to everyone at the hotel for a great stay.
