Retrain staff they didn’t follow any brand standard greeting when I arrived. I arrived around 23:30. They charged me £147 for 1 room instead of the £78.50 I booked it for because he clearly didn’t know what he was doing and tried to charge me the same again for the 2nd room which is when I picked up the error as it was around £150 for both rooms. Both night staff didn’t know how to issue a refund. I was handed a deafgard for my daughter that had a dead battery and no instructions so I had to come back down from the 8th floor- I told him that this is a serious safety issue as these are meant to be checked each week when the fire alarm is tested- his response was that no one really asks for them. I was given a charged one but again no instructions in them which isn’t good for guests that don’t know how to use them. Room 812 smelt heavily of cigarette smoke when we arrived - when we woke in the morning to get ready we found the sink had 3 cigarette butts in there so clearly the room was not cleaned or room checked properly. At check in on Saturday night we were told breakfast was from 6-10:30 when we came down for breakfast at 9:55 on Monday morning I was told that breakfast was closed as it finished at 10am even though I could see the food still out the DM just handed me the card which the room keys sit on and said the information is on there. She had a very bad attitude and kept cutting me off when I was trying to run through the list of issues that we were encountering with the stay, there was not one apology and I had to take my two kids out across the building worries to try and get to the shopping centre to find some breakfast, when checking in late I’m just going to follow information that I’m told and where they had the ability to to seat a guest and 2 children for breakfast they should have done it . Also I called on Saturday afternoon to book a table for dinner in the restaurant and they told me that it was closed on weekends! Why are they closed weekends, why did nobody tell us at check in and why were there menus left in our room and no advertisement of the closure anywhere as I had checked. Both rooms 812/815 were very tired looking, the walls were cracked and there’s obviously a leak from above somewhere running down the walls , the toilet lid hinges in 815 were covered in brown stuff which I had to wipe away any the bed in 812 sounds like it’s about to break at any given moment so clearly an issue with the base and must be noisy for the guests in the room below.

No advance warning of the road closures around the hotel made it extremely difficult to get to the hotel even with the SatNav..No advance warning that the restaurant was closed at weekends for evening meal..Disabled parking bay was used up by staff members without Blue Badges..Continually had to ask them to move their cars so as we could park in Disabled bay with our own Blue Badge…. Don’t bother staying at this hotel, far too much hassle….

i am was very unhappy with experince at woking town centre as i pay for dinner, had a meal deal which included breakfast the next morning. But we went down breakfast the next morning and was greeted by staff i said we got a meal deal last night but they said we were not on list. so i had to pay for breakfast agiain still waiting for a response as i had to pay twice. recpetion was not very well helpful. havent recived my refund for extra breakfast i had to pay for not verry good.

Parking at the hotel is £10 a night but only 2 paces available. Plus if you park in an unauthorised pace £85 fine. The restaurant was closed all weekend so no dinner and no breakfast available. Awful nights sleep . Rooms need air conditioning. Made us feel very poorly in the night . Couldn't wait to leave .

Needed a hotel room very last minute after all trains were cancelled and taxis unavailable. Daniel and Haymond on reception were extremely helpful and accommodating - even managed to get dairy free milk for my tea, fill up my water bottle etc. despite it being the middle of the night! Also, vending machines on site were a great plus (although a bigger selection of drinks would be appreciated). The room was impeccably clean and had everything I needed. Would definitely recommend this hotel if you're in the area and would like to say thank you to staff for such excellent service!
