We stayed here whilst on a road trip round Northumberland. This is one of the best B&Bs we’ve ever stayed at. Spacious accommodation with a garden. The welcome pack was very generous as was the welcome. Breakfast was excellent. The team could not do enough for us. Great base - Lindisfarne, Bamburgh and Alnwick all within reach. We’ll be back!

What a fantastic place to stay The room was quiet and very clean. Nice shower and slept very well on the very comfortable bed. Tea coffee facilities and welcome pack on arrival. The room and bed were tidied and cleaned every day and nothing was too much trouble for the staff . The adjoining cafe and gift shop served a fantastic choice of breakfast cooked and prepared by Brian the chef . Exceptional value for money and we Would highly recommend both the lodge and the cafe. FANTASTIC PLACE 5*

Stayed for 1 night while visiting north Northumberland. Comfortable room .Excellent breakfast with good choice and generous portions. Cafe Maelmin next door ( where we had breakfast) was also excellent. Great service nothing a trouble to the lovely staff.

Great place for a weekend away. Room was clean, tidy and comfortable. The Breakfast was amazing and the staff and owners were lovely too. For Dinner we ate at the Red Lion over the Road. Again the food was great and so was the service. It does get busy so booking is recommended A great stay and a fantastic weekend

Had to rearrange this twice because of various members of the family falling ill, they couldn't have been more helpful, I wouldn't hesitate to book with them in the future, very grateful to them. I am hoping to rearrange a visit at some point.
