Carson Valley Motor Lodge
We had an overnight stay here and were very impressed with everything. The room was spotless and well stocked with essentials. It was warm ( 30 degrees outside) and the beds were comfortable. Good lighting and amenities. The bathroom was sparkly clean and the shower worked extremely well. It had good grab bars and non slip surface. Exceedingly good value for money. It is a three minute walk away from the restaurants and bars of the Inn and casino. Would thoroughly recommend the Lodge to everyone.
A nice place to stay
We stay here now and then because we have relatives in the area. The rooms are nice in the hotel, we have never stayed out in their stand alone building. The food in the cafe is excellent, generous, and well priced.
CVI Motor Lodge was excellent
The CVI Motor Lodge was excellent VERY clean updated room It's a two story unit with plenty of rooms TV and room heater worked good Very quiet and comfortable Do not pay extra for the Casino hotel Stay here
Nice Place, but Inconsistent Service
The room was nice and the bellhops and front desk people were helpful and conscientious, but the cleaning service was lacking on our second day. Our sink wasn't cleaned, dirty glasses were left, the ice bucket wasn't drained and refreshed, and we were shorted multiple towels. We had to call down to the front desk a few times. Also, there was a false fire alarm at 5:30am our first morning with no call of reassurance or notice that it was a false alarm. I had to call and another guest down the hall went to the reception area in his stocking feet to fine out what was the matter. There was no apology of offer to make amends by the hotel.
Nice place, food good, try to get room near elevators
Great place. Nice, friendly staff. 24-hr restaurant is good. Pool/Jacuzzi's are nice. But, try to get a room near the elevators and stay away from the extended wing. No problem with the wing, but it is a long walk from the main stairway/elevator area. I would recommend to stay away from Rooms X37± to X58± (X is the floor), so you do not have to walk a long way to the main hub of the resort.
