Needs a good clean
Reviewed 21 february, 2022
Most of the things in the room needed a good clean. There was a blood stain on the comforter when I arrived, paint all over the desk, and none of the dishes in the kitchen were clean. The bulbs from the primary light in the living space had been removed making the room very dark at night.
The WORST service we have ever had - buyer beware!

Everyone at hotel WAS kind and sweet UNTIL Amira- Except for Amira, who went out of her way to make our trip a troubling experience. Guests please no they can cancel your reservation without even letting you know! Fake promises and then once you pay say no, Amira was the rudest employees we have EVER encountered, she was even rude to Marriott corporate and REFUSED to let us speak to a manager. The WORST EXPERIENCE
Comfortable, well appointed small suite
Reviewed 1 november, 2021
My wife and I decided to stay here to be closer to the Country Club Venue for a family wedding. The suite was clean comfortable and well appointed. The staff was friendly. It was raining when we arrived and there was no covered driveway to pull into for check-in. Also, the breakfast "buffet" left a lot to be desired, but it could be a pandemic related issue. Also, the cycling HVAC system in the room was too noisy for my wife.
Upgrade - Not Really

We arrived here around 10:30pm on a Tuesday night. We booked a one bedroom king bed suite for 2 nights. We are gold marriott members and told the front desk clerk that we wanted a quiet room that was not next to the elevator or stairs. He "upgraded" us to a 2 bedroom suite. The suite looked fine when we walked in except for the crooked coils on the stove. We went to one bedroom and unpacked. The bathroom vanity space was decent and there were drawers for storage. Good storage space for clothes but not a lot of space in the closet to hang things. Most of the space is taken up by wire shelves. So it's now after 11pm and we were very tired. Got into bed only to discover that it was a queen bed, not the king we booked. Same for the 2nd bedroom. We stayed that night and decided to stay the 2nd night because it was too much trouble to move. Big mistake. I got no sleep. Not only was the bed the problem but the a/c was super loud when it came on. It was like having a lawn mower in the room. There was so much light coming in from under the half drapes that you could read by it. No "buffet" breakfast. Boxed breakfast. Took a shower in the morning and left the wet towels on the floor. Came back late that night to find the towels still on the floor. Apparently there is no housekeeping. Saw a note in the elevator that said, if I remember correctly, if you want fresh linens you have to bring them down to the front desk and then you can get new ones. So you have to change the sheets yourself. Luckily we were only staying for 2 nights. The hotel itself is in a good location and everything was clean. But I need my sleep.

This hotel still serves only boxed breakfasts despite it being late June 2021--I've been to other hotels recently that are serving hot breakfasts. That's really annoying because the price of a night's stay is high--I'm feeling gouged. The room isn't very clean either--food bits on the carpet near the couch, and visible footprints on the kitchen tile. And the shower curtain looks like it has mold or mildew on it.
