The location is excellent and the staff was friendly and helpful!!!You can easily visit a Marko square, the academia, Rialto bridge and the palace. The room is spacious, yet with old furniture, but with Venetian charm. Breakfast is served in nice atmosphere
Very bad and unfriendly service at Breakfast

We are from the philippines and stayed at this 4 star hotel and to our surprise the philipino staff was very unfriendly in any regards.
On check in we talked to him in native language, he not bother to talk to us . So ok I taught, he is just different, never mind .
To our surprise in the morning the same Philippine staff served the breakfast
He did not bother to ask what we want , only show us some eggs and butter, and talk to us in Italien what we could not understand.
He was in such rush , I could not believe how we ended up having such a bad breakfast at this 4 star hotel .
We again tried to talk in his native language, no response
As a result we decided to check out of this hotel

We stayed for two nights. It is five minutes from San Marco Square and ten minutes from Rialto. There is no elevator. The room was clean and comfortable, big bathroom also but nothing more for 4* friendly staff.
Good location, better hotels

We wanted a hotel that was close to everything that was reasonably priced and on that account it delivered!
Good points first, brilliant location about 15 minutes from St Marks square, same for the Rialto bridge, bathroom new and modern, our room for venice was very large, check in staff helpful and professional.
Bad points, rooms are dated, not cute shabby chic dated but like the bedding (over sheets) has probably been on the beds and not laundered for 10 years, we found hair in our bed under the apparent clean bedding . The rooms are dark but this is normal for venice and the room smelt slightly damp, there was a massive mosquito problem but being near water your going to expect that and that’s not the hotels fault but the 4 of us could see them everywhere in the room.
Limited toiletries so bring your own!!
The breakfast was a complete fast, partly our fault due to a miscommunication but the staff were rude, we were told off for moving over the social distancing line (rightly so) but others weren’t told off in front of us which made it confusing for our children, the breakfast rooms are so small that if you’ve got more than 4 people you won’t get a seat ... and with it being so small there is no social distancing ... we only had it one day then brought some bits from the local spar which was easier to deal with.
The hotel is not a 4 star hotel not even nearly i think at best a 3 star, it’s saving grace is the location and that is it. for the money there are a lot nicer hotels in Venice.
Venetian style in the center

The location is perfect, close to all sightseeing, 10-15 minutes walking to San Marco, but nevertheless in quiet place. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The room is spacious, yes with old furniture, but with Venetian charm. Breakfast is served in nice atmosphere, quite good choice for Italy. In spite of 4* they don’t provide guests with bathrobe and slippers, and enough amount of bath accessories.
